good design and great technology I am a big fan of this beanie style so i fell inlove with this beanie the moment I saw it. The quality of the materials is great not to mention that it has omni-heat technology, which is AMAZING! Your head will never be cold as long as you're wearing this cute beanie. However, the fit on the front is a little odd, it's a little bit puffy. September 19, 2012

Love it... The hat fits a little large for a women's head as it is O/S. Also it produces static. So when I take the hat off my hair flies everywhere. Most times in the past I have liked the idea of a hat flattening my hair. Also you need to cut the tags off which I am not a fan of because otherwise they feel funny on your head. The hat is very warm and goes great with the new coat I bought from Columbia Sportswear. February 15, 2012
Amazing hat! I live in Nebraska and often endure some pretty bitter winters (this winter wasn't that bad). I love to camp, hike, play disc golf, and do many other outdoor activities, so I'm out quite a bit. I got this hat because I needed something warmer than your average beanie. Now, something unique about me, I have big and very sensitive ears. They are the first part of me that feels the cold. Regular beanies are often nice when I'm out for a half hour, but then my ears start to feel the bite fast. Also, there are a lot of beanies that don't cover all the way down to my ear lobes. The fact that this hat had Omni-Heat lining and really nice color options (I got the green one) made me very interested.The BC Bandit keeps my ears as warm as possible, and it covers them completely after a little stretching and breaking in (it didn't cover them initially, but the material stretches quite nicely)! I can be out for hours and my head and ears are completely fine! Another great thing about this hat is that I can wear it indoors and I don't feel like I'm overheating at all. I think those two qualities really show how well made this hat is for it to insulate your head and also ventilate the excess heat. One more great thing, I love about this hat, is that my hair doesn't feel gross while wearing it for many hours. Other beanies like to tangle my medium length hair inside, but the Omni-Heat lining just slides on top of my hair and doesn't twist it up.Columbia knows what they're doing. If you would happen to be wondering if Omni-Heat works, let me tell you, it completely works like advertised. The bottom line about this product is that I completely recommend it for anyone. Especially for the decent pricing. The only place I don't think it would work too well would be in the middle of a blizzard in Antarctica. You might need to use a hoodie with the hat, too. :P January 27, 2012
BC Bandit I spend long periods of time outdoors throughout the winter months. I purchased the BC Bandit with the hopes that its insulating properties would be as good as the Columbia coats I own. Well, it is, this is possibly the warmest winter hat I have ever owned. The first day I wore it I was outdoors for 6 plus hours with a real temp of 9 degrees and a steady twenty mph North wind. My ears were as toasty as could be. Good job Columbia! December 8, 2011

Oven for my head Im not a big beanie kid, but the price was right and I really needed a new winter hat so I purchased this is in black and white. The omniheat inside is really lightweight but this hat is seriously an oven on my head. As soon as mine came in, my roommate placed an order for the elberberry one.
