great jacket, fair price. I was looking for a nice fleece jacket for my 13 year old son, but didn't want to spend big-bucks on a North face. He is growing and it seemed a waste. The Columbia jacket is exactly what he needs. It looks good, is warm enough for this transitional fall weather and was a good price for my wallet. I will be looking to buy one for myself as well! Just what I wanted I have 2 boys, ages 5 and 7. This is perfect for them for the spring and fall. I ordered the XS for my 5-year old and the S for my 7-year old. They fit great! Plenty of room in the body. I expect to get through this year and next. The only area that they may outgrow are the sleeves - they could be a tad bit longer but it's better than covering their hands, which they both find very annoying.The fleece is a nice weight, hefty but not bulky so that they can wear a couple layers underneath. Keeps them nice and warm and they love how soft they are. I plan to buy more when I need a bigger size! April 2, 2013

Good jacket if you are husky The 10/12 is a tad small and the 14/16 is way too big. This jacket will never fit my son's body type which is average height and slender. This is for a husky body type because it is very wide and short. December 28, 2012
My son won't take this jacket off This was a replacement for a fleece that my 13 year old son grew out of. Honestly, he won't take it off. It's well made, the color is really unusual and quite attractive, and it fits with room for a sweater or under layer. Not a good replacement for Bugaboo liner-- get something warmer I bought this fleece to replace the liner my son lost for his Bugaboo jacket. It isn't as warm or as nice as the Bugaboo liner-- it is thinner and feels less expensive than the Bugaboo. I wish I had the ability to buy a new liner for the Bugaboo. Also, the sizing is different than the Bugaboo-- it is bigger (a little too big). December 19, 2011
Fleece Liners I purchased this product as a replacement liner for a Columbia shell. We love wearing the fleece as a spring/fall jacket. In transition the fleece was misplaced and this was purchased as a replacement. From all I read online about compatibility with their shells, it seemed to me that all Columbia fleece are compatible with the shell of the winter jacket/combos. Not true. I was disappointed to find that this unit did not zip into the same sized shell we have. It will have to be worn as a separate undercoat/lining rather than being zipped into a single wearable item. It's not easy to find compatible units on the Columbia web site. For a core product, it seems like that should be a priority. November 30, 2011

Blue matches toddler coat perfectly My daughter loves turquise blue so this jacket was just right for her. It's bright enough to be gender neutral but the fit clearly is for a boy. The jacket fits loose/boxier than a girls 8/10 does but we don't mind because the color is great and matches the boys toddler hooded coat. Only thing we would change is to have the side fabric in black instead of gray to give it a more vibrant look like the toddler coat. October 3, 2011

Perfect for Autumn! I bought this fleece for my 8 year-old a couple of years ago. Since then, I buy it as a present gift for my nieces and nephews. I also bought me a couple in different colors. It is just right for Autumn. The material is not that thick neither thin. Just perfect to keep myself warm enough! I usually wear it under the coat in winter time. Pay attention to the cleaning label. Do not add bleach while washing it. Also, take into consideration that lighter colors tend to deteriorate and get dirty faster than darker colors.
