great jacket! This jacket is really well made and looks great on my eight year old son. It keeps him warm and dry, and looks like it will hold up for a number of seasons (I bought it big!). Great, warm, not too bulky for my 8 year old son! After looking all over for a winter jacket for my son for our cold New England climate, a friend recommended Columbia. My son tends to run cold and the average child's jacket doesn't keep him warm enough. In addition, the warmer coats tend to be very bulky and be 3-in-1 jackets which are difficult to get in and out of. The Renegade Warmth Jacket is warm without being bulky. Renegade Warmth Jacket - great This was the 2nd jacket we purchased this winter for my 10yr old. the first was another brand that looked great and had good reviews but did NOT fit comfortably. This jacket is perfect! It fits great whether you wear a sweatshirt under it or not it's comfortable. There is ample room under the arms and the sleeves are the right length - so many others have sleeves that are too long or TOO short. My son loves the hip color and mom loves it as it does not show the dirt easily. And it is warm - the first thing my son said was "boy is this warm and comfortable" The pockets could be slightly larger to fit mittens & gloves better but that is my ONLY suggestion January 24, 2012
Amazing jacket I got this jacket for christmas and i couldn't be happier with it. The three main things i like about it are #1 how water and wind proof it is. #2 its is extremely warn and comfortable. and #3 its just a really cool jacket with great features. January 23, 2012

Warms a child's heart My 10 year old was asking for a coat that would keep him warm in this cold Chicago weather.. He specifically wanted a red jacket which we found in the Renegade Warmth Jacket. He was extremely happy on how he did not have to wear a sweater underneath to feel warm. We had given him the jacket a few days before he saw the commercial on tv and made him really happy learning that the jacket really worked... The commercial was the one where the person is skiing and a group runs over and throws the jacket over him to keep warm. December 14, 2011

OVERALL GREAT JACKET!! We live in Northern Wisconsin, so warmth is important for my family. My 9 year old son walks to school everyday in all kinds of weather. ( High winds,rain, or cold could come down from Canada at anytime.) I had always bought from Columbia for all his winter coats. Except for last year, (BIG MISTAKE!) I tried another company. I did save ALITTLE MONEY, but lost sooo much more. The coat wasn't as warm as his Columbia coats I had purchases, nor did it make it through our season before it was falling apart. I'm never purchasing anything except "COLUMBIA " for my family again. An OMNI-HEAT CAN'T BE BEAT!! Thanks for making the "Renegade Warmth Jacket".
