QUALITY AT A LOW PRICE My son loves this hoodie. I love that it zips up to the chin. I wish it was a little more insulated for much colder days. Mom of Three Ordered this jacket for my 12 year old who wears a 10/12 in everything, but this jacket was too small for him. It fit his 9 year old sister though!Aside from being too small for a 12 year old, it is fabulous!! It is soft and warm. The hood is a great bonus! January 8, 2013

If only my kid could zip it, I'd buy this again... This is a pretty nice fleece jacket. It zips up far enough to cover chin and neck on breezy days. The pockets, hood, and "layout" are what I'd look for in a light jacket, and the fleece is warm enough for almost all days during our mild winters.My big disappointment is the zipper. The bottom slips out of place very easily when trying to zip up, unless it is very precisely lined up -- it's a challenge for a preschooler to do on his own. His previous Columbia jacket had a great zipper, but this one really isn't working out. (This is particularly frustrating for me on busy days when I need him to get himself dressed, and frustrating for HIM that he's trying his best and it keep coming undone at the bottom after he's zipped it up!) great purchase My son received one as a present and I wore his,super warm and soft. He told me it was time to retire a 13 year old competetor's jacket that I loved. I ordered up a size with a hood so I could wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath comfortably. Wore it this past w/e at a baseball tournament with hurricane winds and rain from Sandy...Perfect.Now my daughter who has a northface wants one.Guess what she is getting for Christmas? Boys Steens Hoodie My 6 yr old son says it is soft and warm. I love that this has a hood! It's hard to find any in stores with a hood. I did expect it to be a little big on him because he usually wears a sz 7 and I ordered a sz 8 so he can grow into it a bit, however it ended up fitting him just right. My son is picky about certain fabrics but he approves of this one so I will definately be buying more in the future! September 12, 2012

Deceiving photo I purchased this coat for my 11 yr old son who does not like to wear the bulky jacket to school, so I thought this would be a good coat for running in and out of school or the store. When I looked at the coat on line, the picture they showed looked as if there was a double collar on the hood, there is not. Also it is much thinner than I thought, but time will tell if the 100% fleece stands up to its name and keeps him warm. January 24, 2012
Please consider using Polartec fleece My son hasn't worn this jacket yet because while his old LL Bean size 10/12 is almost too small, this jacket in size 14/16 is a bit big, so we'll wait for him to grow into it. It seems nicely made and the hood fits well, but I can't fully review it until he wears it.My one wish right out of the bag, though, is that it was made with Polartec fleece; the fleece it's made with feels thinner and more polyester-ish. I know it would be more expensive with Polartec, but it's hands down the best fleece on the market and I'd be willing to pay extra for it. October 3, 2011
