Children's Outpost™ Hybrid 2 Water Shoe 4.5 5 2 2
Great shoes for an outdoorsy toddler These are the best shoes my 3 1/2 year old has had yet! He was getting blisters from another pair of shoes, and the Velcro wore out before he outgrew his other name brand, expensive water shoes. They fit with socks but are better without them. They dry very quickly when he gets them wet and have great traction for hiking and biking. I wish I would have gotten them earlier, and I will definitely buy these again when he grows out of them. I am actually going to buy his little brother a pair today. They are a little hard to get on, and he is having trouble doing it by himself. However, they fit so great once they get on I think it is worth having to help him May 16, 2012
Minor Quality Control Slip We are big Columbia fans especially when it comes to kid's shoes. This is the second pair I have purchased for my daughter. The hold up amazingly considering how tough she is on shoes. Her last pair she wore for about 10 months and only quit because they got too small. The shoes are still in really good shape. This latest pair has proven to be the same with regards to the quality of the shoe. I would like to mention that there was a small quality control slip up on the part of Columbia in that the inserts were glued in the opposite shoes. When they arrived and she first put them on, she complained that they felt weird. Upon inspection, the right insert was folded over at the toe and then when I started looking closer, I realized the arch was on the wrong side. I pulled the insert loose from the glue and sure enough, it was the insert for the left shoe. I then pulled the left one loose and it was the insert meant for the right shoe. It was an easy correction for me to make and my daughter loves the shoes. I just wanted to mention it here so that the folks at Columbia can take appropriate measures with regards to QC in the future. We will definitely buy her next shoes from Columbia too. January 8, 2012
