Good for some uses I've been holding off on reviewing these boots to give them a fair amount of use first. As a hunting guide I spend a lot of time in the field. I've worn the boots about 45 days to date.My first thought when I put them on was OUCH! The battery packs hit me in the ankle bones and caused a significant amount of pain. I stretched the boots and wore them loose for awhile and that helped a little. However, I still can't really tighten them up.My second impression was the distinct lack of battery life. I found that the batteries lasted exactly half of the advertised duration of time. If it's cold, less than 10 degrees, they drain faster.The function of the boots is good. But you do need access to the upper part of the boot to turn them on and off. Not always the easiest thing to do when in a treestand.The construction seems good and they seem to be holding up well.Overall, for a couple of hours on stand in the AM or PM they are great. As long as you don't have a hike to get in. They aren't a great walking boot. But they will keep your feet warm for a couple of hours. January 12, 2013

Great boot with quality. I love these boots. I have not had the opportunity to turn on the power because it has been to warm and the boots are warm enough. However, they are very light and confortable. Can't wait for a cold day to see how they perform when hunting. Never been disappointed with anything from Columbia yet. Still have the same Bugaboo jacket for fifteen years and works perfectly. December 10, 2012

This product performs as advertised. I wore these boots on a weekend hunting trip. They were great. My, usually cold feet, stayed warm the entire time. Easy to operate, and comfortable. November 19, 2012

All that you could want Bought these boots after ensuring I had the correct size and wore them out of the box on a four day hunting trip. Boots felt excellent with no break-in at all. Couldn't seem to find the need to even turn on the electric heat since these were so warm due to their insulation. These boots held up perfectly through hard hiking in dense brush and sharp rocks and they were very very quiet. Being water proof makes them even better. I highly recommend these boots; they are the nicest I've ever owned. November 12, 2012
