Looks good, feels good
Since I bought this shirt in January, I can't say how this shirt does in hot weather. However, I can say that it does keep the sun off. It's a good looking shirt, but they fit large. So if you wear an XL, get a Large. I'm looking forward to trying it out this summer. All the other clothes that I've gotten from Columbia have been great, so I expect this to be great as well.

Great product
This shirt is great for being in hot climates. Keeps you cool and protects well from the sun. Generously sized.

Wonderful product
This is a great shirt for working in hot climates and in direct sun. I don't know that it's necessarily "cooler to the touch" as Columbia claims, but it definitely feels cooler than even their OmniShade products.
I'd echo what others have said about the sizing - they do run large so get a size down from what you usually wear.

Great LS Light weight shirt!
Works great to protect you from the sun, yet light weight enough to be more than comfortable in the Florida heat and humidity. Quick drying!

Works Great in this HEAT...
I use this shirt while doing my bike ride. The ride provides enough air flow and the shirt / sweat evaporation do the rest. It works great as a cooling system. I'm in 100F heat and Houston humidity and I'm able to keep cool...enough. If I had to do it over, I'd buy a size smaller to be more snug, that would also help with the evaporation. Even though a bit big, this shirt works great in the heat.

Men's Gen 2 Freezer
Nice light weight shirt that provides good sun protectiion and versatility in direct sun usage. Easy to swim in to avoid getting sunburn or just spashing with water to cool down. Sleeves are a little too long.

Men's Gen 2 freezer Long Sleeve
Shirt easily runs one size too large; ordered an XL, easily a 2XL. Gave it to my larger son, fits great. He loves the shirt. Great products overall.

Yes to long-sleeves in the summer
This shirt is by far the best one to wear through a long, hot and humid Summer. It has the capability to wick away perspiration almost instantly while keeping you both cool and dry. Please make more in a wider selection of colors.

Men’s Gen 2 Freezer™ Long Sleeve
This long sleeve Freezer shirt is extremely lightweight, cool, and looks great. The sleeves are a little long, but the rest of the shirt fits well, and makes me feel great when I wear it. I would recommend it for people who want to be protected from the sun without getting too warm.

Awesome Shirt
I needed a good combo of sun protection and moisture wicking and something to wear in the heat! This shirt is awesome for all of that! I can wear this for running, yard work, swimming, boating, or whatever! I would recommend this to anybody! The only thing i will say is order a size down from what you wear!

amazing shirt
I tried out this shirt yesterday for the first time wore it while I was doing stuff out side around the house. The tempture was a 102 out with no wind. The shirt actually kept me comfortable in those conditions.

Omni Freeze
The Omni Freeze technolgy in these shirts is outstanding. After wearing this shirt the first day, it made it hard to go back to wearing a regular t shirt. I have sold a bucnch already. All I really have to tell them is about Omni Freeze and that they wouldn't want to mow the lawn in anything else
