Company mistake...I'm sure. I bought 2, 14/16 girls Benton Springs fleece in April. I received them and let my daughter try them on. They were huge on her but I though that maybe she could wear them next year. My older daughter saw them, (she is 5"8, 125 lbs.) and they fit her perfectly. The items are obviously mismarked. I have bought many Columbia items and everything has been fine. However, this is the only time that I have bought items online and I'm not sure if I will do it again any time soon. I'm sure the items would be fine if I got the right size and I am sure that I will purchase other Columbia items in the future. May 9, 2013

Love this jacket for my daughter Bought this our youngest daughter and she loves it, the color is bright and beautiful and material is both warm and cozy and yet still light enough that wearing in early spring makes it just right as it would be in fall. Great everyday jacket I have been looking for a fleece jacket but could not afford a North Face so I went to Columbia. I am a 24yr old woman but also small, so when I looked at the options, I noticed there was a girls Large size that fit my measurements. I love it! I live in SF where its foggy almost every day and this jacket is perfect for the weather here. It's not too warm so I can't wear it on our coldest days, but its great most days of the year. Just perfect for the money! I bought a blue and a purple for my twins. The size fit perfectly. I like the way they are longer and hit below the waist. Very functional for our climate in the south. I almost bought them a much more expensive brand which they have just grown out of but saw these and just loved the color selection and the price was just right! March 12, 2013

This jacket has great zipping for small hands Got these jackets for my granddaughters, they loved them. The size was perfect (I got one size 4/5 and another size 10/12) they like the fact they are not bulky and yet still warm. They have been washed once and held up very well. January 23, 2013
Cozy fit I purchased two of these for my granddaughters ages 7 & 9. They were a little roomy which is good. Colors were true to color chart. Zippers seem to be of good quality. Guess we'll see the true quality when they are washed. So far would recommend this product. December 21, 2012

This product has great color I was afraid that the interesting color of the fleece online would not be as vibrant in real life when it arrived, but it is such a nice subtly purplish-blue.It is really soft and I love the feeling of the soft cuffs. love this fleece I am a big fan of Columbia fleece and own several. My daughter's love these fleece too. The fit is great, and I love the new cut that seems a bit more fitted and not so boxy. But not a tight uncomfortable fit. Keeps my daughter warm. Add a rain shell for the Pacific NW and it's even better. November 18, 2012
perfect jacket for Texas weather This jacket is stylish and comes in lots of colors for the picky but stylish personality. My 18 year old daughter bought this jacket in an XL (18-20). She normally wears awomens size 6. It is not a slim fitted jacket, a bit roomy and comfortable. It is warm, durable and lightweight. It is definately an AFFORDABLE jacket being less expensive than most sweatshirts yet more tailored. Perfect to throw on with khakis, jeans, leggings or workout gear. I give it an A+ November 15, 2012
Cozy and Comforting I bought this fleece for my first grade daughter. She LOVES it and has been trying to wear it even though it's been too warm. Well, she got her chance today! Perfect fit My 11-year-old daughter is very particular about her coats. She will wear a hoodie in cold weather to avoid wearing anything bulky. Good Spring Coat My daughter got this coat as a present and it has worked great. I love buying the coats so they are a little big and then they are able to fit on my daughter for a few years and if she wears a sweatshirt it fits. I think that this coat is a great spring coat that works on all kinds of days, when it is chilly. When my daughter goes to school it is small enough to be able to fit in her backpack when it becomes a nice day and don't need to wear her coat in the afternoon anymore. I would highly recommend this coat. Plus it is such a great quality coat that it last for awhile, and is a great coat to be able to pass down to younger siblings! September 28, 2012
Sleeves too long Was very disappointed with this jacket. The body of the jacket fit okay but the sleeves were about 5 inches too long. Because the cuffs were tight we could not roll them up. We've never had a sleeve too long for us before. September 21, 2012

Come Back, Columbia! I love, love, love Columbia jackets. I have owned three Benton Springs fleece jackets and they were all terrific. I would wear them everyday. I had Candy Mint, Bright Rose, and Berry Jam so they always matched. However, all, yes all, of them were stolen this past year at school. So now my mother is making buy my own jackets and a new lock for my gym locker. Haha, oh well, I will continue to buy Columbia jackets and one day, I will buy them for my kids. Great Jacket! My daughter was so excited when this jacket arrived and has not stopped wearing it since. It is true to size and the color is as beautiful as it was on the website. The quality is fantastic - as is with all Colombia jackets. This is the third Colombia fleece we have purchased for my daughter. Run Large I am a teenager and typically wear a adult small. However, I fit into a 12-14 in this jacket. So the sizes might be a bit off. I love this jacket! although the softness faded a bit, it's been a year and I still use it very frequently! February 26, 2012

Benton Springs Fleece-Girls Fleece is too large (girls 14-16) and seems poorly made, the advertisement said it would be good for chilly days on the playground, but it is way too thin. I had ordered two and returned one (I would have returned the other as well but had washed it). I guess this is what you get for ordering online and not seeing products in a store. January 28, 2012

perfect for Southern winters. We live in the South where it can be 65 degrees one day and 27 degrees the next. We even have days where we wake up and it is 70 degrees and by lunch, the temperatures have dropped into the forties.
