Men's Fast Trek™ Fleece Glove Omni-Heat® 4.1 5 27 27
Overall good everyday, glove Overall I really like this glove, it's fleece so it's not super water resistant and snow sticks but they are great for running, walking the dog, snowshoeing etc. Keep my hands warm even in the 20's and in wind. Biggest complaint is like all the others....the thumb is too long by at least 1/2" (I have fairly large hands)...doesn't seem like a big deal but it is a bit annoying. February 29, 2012
Not the greatest gloves but they're better than average If you're looking for a glove that is really going to keep your hands warm in below zero weather, than these aren't them. If you needed gloves to keep your hands warm in say like 30 degree weather than these will do justice. I live in Chicago, so enough said. Only biggest con I have about the gloves is what everyone mentioned already, the thumb is too large. If I broke my thumb and it got swollen, my thumb would still fit in the glove. February 17, 2012
Great Gloves Keeps the hands warm. Fingers are cold unless they are being used. But great for lightweight gloves that aren't mittens. January 13, 2012
Nice lightweight glove. If you are looking for a nice winter driving glove, this is a perfect fit. p.s. the thumb is a little long like you read in other ratings.. January 13, 2012
Mens' fast trek fleece Omni heat gloves bought these for my hubby for x-mas.....nice looking glove, he wore them on one of the coldest days in New York City & said the omni heat didn't work....his hands were still very cold????, he needs gloves so he'll keep them, but this omni heat thing doesn't pan out, I think it's a gimmick, the thermal gloves are just as good....was thinking of getting a pair for me, but that's not going to happen.... January 9, 2012
The Product Failed me. It was 20 degrees and the product did not keep my hands from getting cold. I ordered this product with the hopes of keeping my hands warm. My hands became freezing cold in less than 15 minutes. I was mad. January 7, 2012
Great Gloves / Great Company I have purchased the glove, hat, Ridge Runner II pant and Sawyer Creek jacket. What a difference in the cold weather and so light and comfortable. January 6, 2012
Nice, warm light duty gloves Great gloves. Good feel and function. January 6, 2012
Coldest gloves ever! Purchased these gloves a few days ago at Dick's since they didn't have the gloves I wanted. Got to tray them in yesterdays very cold and snow. They are the coldest gloves I ever had. A few minutes outside and my fingers were numb. Another wasted pair of gloves to go in the bag. Should have kept the receipt and tags January 4, 2012
Great gloves for winter shooting I got these gloves for cold weather hunting. I've used them on sub freezing days and they kept me warm and comfortable. They are thin and light enough for me to manipulate a shotgun without issue. Great thin warm gloves. January 3, 2012
Great pair of gloves for a great price Once again I am a satisfied with the quality and function of what Columbia has produced. These gloves really keep me warm January 1, 2012
Great All Purpose glove! I bought several pairs of these for teacher's gifts and stocking stuffers for my boys. They are a high quality fleece and my family loves Omni-Heat products, so they were a big hit! I tired my youngest son's size small on and they fit me perfectly, and I estimate my hands to be average size for a woman. So, the fit is nice. For an insulated glove they allow moderate dexterity...not too bulky. An excellent value! December 29, 2011
Standard Review Had these gloves for a few weeks now, and they're pretty nice. The liner is really comfortable and picks up heat like a boss. Listen to what most people are saying, the thumb is cut a bit large. It lacks grip on anywhere but the thumb and the palm (I might try and put grip tape or something on the other fingers). Definitely the warmest / best fitting / most comfortable fleece gloves I've ever owned. Note: I only use these for walking to the car / waiting for it to warm up. Even so my mornings are about 20 degrees. December 29, 2011
Great gloves! Great fit, warm and good looking December 18, 2011
Good but not great... Good glove and does the job. Materials are very good. Thumb is way to long. makes the glove not fit right. Over-all a good glove but wish they would have made the thumb a lot smaller. December 13, 2011
Comfortable and Warm These gloves do the trick when you need to keep your hands warm in casual or light duty situations. They would not be great if you need good manual dexterity, but most fleece gloves aren't. The large size gloves have fingers that fit my medium to large size hands well, but the thumb has about a 1/2 in. of excess material at the tip. December 10, 2011
The product is great for this type of weather I have been looking for gloves that are water proof and that fit. I am overall pleased with this product and would recommend them. November 28, 2011
good mid-weight glove The fast trek fleece glove works well as a mid-weight glove when weather is cold, five or above. Have not had the opportunity to test it's functionality at lower temperatures at the time of writing. November 25, 2011
Nice Gloves Nice light gloves with Omni Heat. They also match my jacket and scarf in Columbia Navy! November 24, 2011
Fast Trek Fleece Glove This gloves have met my needs for any everyday, cold weather glove that doesn't impede on functionality. The Omni-Heat technology is awesome and has succeeded at keeping my hands warm in weather below freezing. The gloves are comfortable and flexible, my only knock on them is the lack of traction padding on the finger tips. I like it on the palm and thumb, but wish it was on the other 4 tips as well to help with gripping etc. Overall another great Columbia product. November 19, 2011
Thumb sizing?? I have never been disappointed with a Columbia product yet until I met these gloves. The thumb size is almost 1/2 inch bigger than my thumb and I am an average gentleman. I bought the S/M sizing because I have the average sized hands. The fingers are a bit cold for morning commutes and walks for the dog, but the palm is toasty. The sticky adhesive on the palm is in a decent spot, but I would like to see them on the finger tips of each finger. As stated, the thumbs are what give me the most problems. For the price, not too bad, but for the quality, I would definitely invest in a better pair. March 15, 2011
Just what I needed Although the thumb is a tad larger than the rest of the fingers, the glove fits perfectly and keeps me warm for whenever I walk to class or scrape the ice off of my car. I would highly recommend these to anyone. January 27, 2011
Favorite Gloves Ever Generally, I refuse to wear gloves because I find them bulky and uncomfortable. I have tried many pairs, and this is the best, by far. I was a little concerned about the Omni-Heat lining, but it is soft and feels great. I basically redid my entire winter wear, and this was a great addition. January 13, 2011
Warm Gloves I threw out my NF gloves and bought these. They work great in the cold Chicago winters but im very confused on why the thumb is so long? Its kind of annoying but im sure ill get used to it. I shouldn't need to though.... January 7, 2011
Light, warm, water repellent These gloves are great for the chilly, rainy season. So why not 5 stars? The thumb could be slightly shorter (but I got used to it). December 11, 2010
Nice glove, runs small These gloves are very warm and have good wind-resistance, however the XL runs a bit small for my larger hands and because of this it makes the stitching around the base of the thumbs feel very awkward and restrictive. I would order a size larger for most people but if you have very large hands like mine you may want to seek out a different glove. 4 out of 5 stars for the fit. November 14, 2010
Warm and dry! I walk roughly 3 miles to work in the early morning in Oregon. This means that it is chilly, and usually rainy, so I wanted a glove that would keep me warm and dry. I also have diabetes, so circulation is very important to me. These gloves fit the bill, and then some! October 25, 2010
