Men's Firelane™ Low 4.4 5 32 32
perfect This was exactly what i had been looking for for the last 3 months. they fit perfect as soon as I put them on. I would recommend these shoes to anyone! April 30, 2012
very comfortable Immediate comfort when I put the shoe on, it felt like it was made for my foot. I do not require a wide width shoe so this one fit as a normal size should. April 8, 2012
Sizes always different I've owned at least six pairs of Columbia light hiking shoes, starting in the 80s from REI in Dallas, TX, then a shop in Placerville, CA, then catalog. This is the largest (all size 10) The previous pair was on the small side, the previous pair on the large side. I keep different thicknesses of hiking socks to adjust to the size . I would think that the last could be standardized. And widths seem to have disappeared. I was a 10 D, now there is only 10, but the width seems commensurate. The laces always unlace, unless double tied. We live in the Sierra Nevada, at 4000 feet. Walk dog in snow. Care for horse in mud. Hose them off and air dry. April 7, 2012
Just the BEST They are the best products I've bought so far, I've used them for hiking in different geographical areas, Austin Tx, At Chipinuque mountain in Monterrey Mex. , Johnson City Tx at the farm etc. They are comfortable and are manufactured with high quality and technology, work very well in all types of roads and trails, has good grip, no slip and have very good traction. The words quality, service, design and value are summarized in one word COLUMBIA March 15, 2012
Cool Hello, this shoes is great, so far it has been cool , i had them 3 weeks ago. i did some rock walking, too... I was looking for particularly dark color, and two color only. March 7, 2012
Great pair of sturdy shoes! This was my first shoe purchase from Columbia. I got these out of the box and they went straight on my feet. They didn't need to be broken in or anything, and they fit great. There was a tiny bit of extra room, but not enough to make them "wobble" or anything like that. I've already worn them outdoors a few times in wet and muddy conditions and they are perfect! I couldn't be happier with this purchase and I would definitely buy shoes from Columbia again. March 7, 2012
A great shoe in all weather conditions! Got these shoes on a day in the 40's, felt fine, no issues. The next day, it snowed, 6 inches of drifting snow that started to freeze immediately. I went out to snowblow and shovel in these shoes. No problem. Handled steep, icy driveways, blowing snow, and all the while my feet stayed warm and dry. Never once did I slip on the ice or lose traction behind the snowblower. When I told my wife about my experience with these shoes she said: "Let's find a pair for me, too". You'll hardly find a better compliment than that! This is my second pair of Columbia hiking shoes, my first pair lasted so long the label wore off and I have no idea what that model was any longer, but they were at least 4 years old. This product is well worth the money. The shoe fits well and is very comfortable. It is also light and very sturdy. I'm very satisfied with the Firelane Low Hiking shoes. January 7, 2012
Great all around shoe I bought two pair of these shoes, one for my dad and another for my father in law. Each loved them! They fit true to size and I liked the color scheme. Although they could be used for some trekking around, they're a nice casual shoe too. January 6, 2012
Arch support Needed a higher arch support to provide proper fit and arch support. January 2, 2012
My Husband's Favorite Gift I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He says that the comfort contour design fit perfectly. He was extremely pleased with these shoes. December 29, 2011
Good Shoe The right shoe fits a bit oddly, but the left is great. I ended up having to buy a size larger than I normally get, but it still fits. The shoe has good traction, and it's a comfortable shoe. I'd definitely get it again, but I'd wait to get the correct size this time. December 28, 2011
very comfortable The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars is because I've only had them for two days. They are very comfortable and stylish. I've vey happy with this purchase. November 9, 2011
Amazing great shoe. Two weeks ago, I laid these shoes to rest, They stood up through 15 months of being my only shoes... Through Backpacking, hiking, camping, church, a funeral, shopping, over 12 weeks of working at a Boy Scout Summer camp and just being a teenager. In the end they still held up great. A little fraying in the thread in places, and by the time I got rid of them the tred had worn smooth, (which you can't blame Columbia for, the tred still lasted longer then on my old boots.) but still as comfortable as they day I got them, (even though I threw the shoes out I kept the insoles just in case) These shoes lasted me for a while, and loved thm the entire time. I highly recomend buying these shoes. September 29, 2011
Great shoe Cumfortable, sturdy and durabl August 28, 2011
Good all around Im working in Baghdad, these shoes are light and comfortable. The temp reaches 120's easy and these shoes take it pretty well. I have found no faults yet, satisfied with my purchase. August 28, 2011
Walking shoes Very good product. Fits well, confortable resistent.I'm ver y happy with the purchase. August 25, 2011
I wouldn't say it unless it were true. I have owned a Columbia coat for winter and I wouldn't trade it for a dozen Carhartt coats. I have only owned one pair of Columbia boots for winter and after a year and ten months I had to buy a new pair. I put the current pair (Men's Fire lane Low) on and instantly they were comfortable. I usually have to wait for any shoe to "Break In" but did not have to with these. I have recommended Columbia to people as one of the best shoes I have ever owned. August 7, 2011
MENS FIRELANE LOW THEY ARE GREAT WEARING SHOES, RECOMEND THEM HIGHLY June 16, 2011
Good product, send quickly I already owned a pair of the exact same shoe and when it wore out I simply purchased a new pair of the exact same shoe. I plan on doing this indefinitely, so please do not change a thing about this shoe. May 24, 2011
good shoes I walk on gravel rocks all day (small, medium and large rocks) and these shoes glad right over them. They feel real comfortable even when I walk on gravel all day. The traction on the soles is real good too. These are not labeled as "waterproof" but, I have spilled water on the top of my shoes a few times and no water leaked through the material. This is just a great product! May 9, 2011
contractor tuff I'm a painting contractor who hates wearing work boots because of the discomfort. I started wearing Columbia shoes a couple of years ago and I have to say, they stand up to the challenge. My employees started wearing them too. thanks Columbia April 30, 2011
Good price, bit small, not waterproof I bought these on sale and was very pleased with the low price. The shoes are very good quality, and very comfortable. They are a tiny bit smaller than I would have accepted if I had been buying them from a store, but then I am used to the European sizing system, so that may be my fault. April 17, 2011
Great design these shoes look great, but right side is a little small... March 31, 2011
Great product excellent pair of shoes. Very stable and athletic with a true to size fit. Will definitely be buying some more. March 3, 2011
Great Shoe Great Item just a bit in the narrow size still good comfort January 10, 2011
Mismatched? Right shoe was way too tight/short, left shoe was fine. That is not a problem I have had with Columbia before. I will return these. December 14, 2010
recommend I bought a pair of columbia's several years ago. Wore them in new orleans during the Katrina flood for three days soaking wet knee deep in water. just got rid of them to buy these and they feel like the same good comfort and quality for only two weeks old. I recommend to anyone...thanks Roddy October 4, 2010
good all around I've worn plenty of different hiking shoes and this one is one of the better all around shoes I've found. It's not going to be great for any one activity, but it can do most anything you want without giving you any major troubles. In my case it did run a little larger, so I would suggest trying it on before buying online, or maybe go down a size. September 28, 2010
It's a shoe. I read the other reviews before I bought these, and was a little wary. But I've had them for about a month, and I like them. They are very light for cross trainer type shoes. I like the feel of them, the style and color. I haven't had any problems. They fit just fine also. August 4, 2010
Firelane™ Lea Omni-Tech® - uncomfortable The reinforcements on both sides at the top made them unconfortable and very tight. Loose at the back. The shape could be better. March 23, 2010
One Good One Bad I really like the style of these shoes. The tread was the number one reason for my purchase. The reason I give these shoes a two star is due to one shoe being perfect and the other starting to deteriorate the first day I wore it. Shotty craftsmanship? January 9, 2010
