Men's Freezer Arm Sleeves 4.2 5 9 9
Keeps your arms cool and cancels out the sun I like these arm sleeves, I felt a little weird about them at first but once I realized how cool and burn-free they kept my arms I was hooked. I have the L/XL size, and they fit really well around my hands, wrists, and forearms, but pinch my biceps considerably. I ended up stretching the top (bicep) part of the sleeve as much as I could to get them into a semi-comfortable position. As long as I don't pull them up too high on my arm they are ok, and with a regular type long sleeve shirt the upper arm is covered anyway. These wouldn't not work with a tank top, obviously. I wear these with my Columbia neck/face freezer gaiter in 10 hour days on the boat in full sun and highly recommend them, they save you from having to wear a long sleeve shirt if you don't want to and sort of expand your wardrobe in that way. Also wear them for cycling/running. October 9, 2011
Men's Freezer Arm Sleeves These sleeves are great. They are cool and cooler still when the wind is blowing. Where I live the sun is out every day at 6400 feet and intense! A little snug at the bicep but below that point fit fine. I like the fact that wearing these does not require wearing the sun block gloves. Nice product, I'm pleased. September 20, 2011
Nice UV protection This columbia sleeves are savin my arms from the sun UV rays. I work in a construction site, and because Im always under the sun this sleeves come with me everytime around. September 19, 2011
Cool idea I was not sure about how I would feel using these, but I was suprised how well they worked the first time I used them. First, they allowed me to wear a short sleeve shirt while out paddling, which helped keep me cooler during a really hot day on the water, and still protect my arms from the sun. Second, the way the hands are made allowed me to have better contact with my paddle. I really enjoyed using these! September 4, 2011
Must have for the fair skinned. I picked these up and do not fish in the day time with out them. The Omni Freeze works and is cool in the mid day sun in temps of 90 or above. I know my dermatoligist approves of me possessing these. I wear them on the beach or on the boat. August 19, 2011
Great driving sleeves! I have a sun allergy, but still like to wear short sleeves whenever possible during the hot summer months. That presents a challenge for driving though, since I either have to change shirts entirely or wear an over shirt and thus an extra layer in order to protect my arms in the car. These are great though and served me well on a recent long road-trip since they allowed me to wear a regular t-shirt, but provided the necessary UPF protection on my arms, while keeping me fairly cool. The hand ends don't provide much coverage, but I already have a pair of driving gloves which I just wore over them. I was a little worried about the size since these are listed in the men's department and I am a small-framed female, but they stayed securely on my upper arm and fit very nicely the whole length. Pleased Works great for sun protection. I was slightly worried about the size after reading other reviews but they stretched out nicely after wearing them about half a day with 14' biceps. I will be ordering more. July 22, 2011
The upper ends are too small. The diameter of the upper ends was way to small for my 15 inch biceps. The fit was way too tight, I'm afraid I will tear them. I ordered the L/XL the largest size. July 14, 2011
Where have these been all my life??? I'm a farmer and a fishoholic. The sun is my relentless enemy. When I saw these arm length, fingerless gloves/arm gaiters at a retailer I snatched them up in both white and tan. I'm 5'8", 140#'s, but have big upper arms for a woman. I got the L/XL and they are about right. I wore them fishing from sun up to sun down yesterday and got no noticeable sun on my arms. The hand design is ingenious with only the pinky and thumb holes which keeps your fingers/hand free for line management. When farming I put gloves on under them. They do not make me feel hotter, if anything cooler, and I don't have to fret about reapplying sunscreen all day. Fishers that see them want to know where I got them? Quickly became a standard part of my fishing gear. I love backwoods trout fishing in S. Appalachians and you have to slip up on those big wild ones like a panther so I wish they came in fishouflage or standard camo. July 1, 2011
