Men's Splash™ Pant 3.7 5 3 3
Perfect I couldn't be happier. The fit is great and the material looks to be top quality. April 18, 2011
waterproof comfort redifined These pants are awesome! The waterproofing is unparalled, in my opinion. The ankle cuffs work great, and when fastened over a tall pair of waterproof boots, could be claimed as downright submersible! The construction is heavy duty without being cumbersome or bulky, allowing full, and free range of motion. I wear these pants with a backpaddle II jacket for my comercial fishing ventures, and stay dryer than any heavy raingear I have ever used. I do recomend stepping down a size to cut down on the bulk at the ankles, and to provide a better stretch fit at the waist. April 6, 2011
Great Idea - Not so great design When you first take a look at the pants, they look impressive. When you put them on, unless they fit well without adjusting, they are a pain in the butt. The velco straps are not strong enough to secure a tight fit. As I hiked around in them, the velcro straps started giving right away at the waist. The elastic lining is also another great idea, but not snug enough to actually hold snug to your body. The pants ended up lowriding quite a bit, exposing the elastic lining to the elements. The bottom of the pant-legs tend to look really bulky and the elastic had a tendency to bunch up. On a good note, the heat technology is amazing. I thought that I would be too hot while hiking in them, but to my surprise, the pants kept my temperature regulated so that I didn't really sweat too much or feel the need to take them off. I am going to try a smaller pair, before giving up on the pants March 28, 2011
