Men's Wintertrainer™ II Glove 4.4 5 14 14
Meets my needs These gloves were what I wanted and expected. They fit well and provide the degree of warmth I was seeking. I would have preferred the lettering not be white, as on a pair of gray Columbia gloves I purchased some time ago. February 10, 2012
The gloves keep your hands warm and dry and would recommend them. Great gloves very warm and would definitely recommend. The best pair of winter gloves I have ever owned. February 5, 2012
These gloves fit my 25 year old son perfectly. These gloves fit perfectly and were very comfortable. January 3, 2012
Works well As weird as it may sound, its my first pair of gloves. I've lived in the tropics all my life and just moved to New York, and even in low 30s weather, it works brilliantly. December 21, 2011
Great cool weather gloves I bought these gloves for casual, cool weather wear. Medium fits my somewhat small hands perfectly. They're very comfortable, light enough to stuff in jacket pockets without creating too much bulk, leaving room for other "carry-arounds". The leatherette patches on palm and thumb give them pretty good grip. Good for light work around the yard and for driving. They were exactly what I was looking for. November 30, 2011
Too Hot to Be Cool Purchased these gloves for my husband. Seeing that it was a 91 degree day when we received them they will be waiting for cold weather in the closet. He had a pair of these and loves them. We were frantic when we thought we had lost the originals! I have a pair myself and you can even cast with a spinning rod wearing them. Best Gloves Ever....Our closet is full of Columbia Clothing. Thanks Ma Boyle June 14, 2011
Nice Gloves The small size is still a bit large for me.But it's comfortable and warm though not too thick, so it won't be that awkward. The design of fleece outerside with a strip of leather in the palm is great. February 7, 2011
Nice but "lightweight" = thin Nice style but think material and the XL is a bit tight. I have big hands but XL is my glove size. The length of the wrist fabric could be a tad longer too. January 22, 2011
Good gloves but Good gloves but my fingertips def get cold AND I use them for running, so you would think they'd warm up quick. Of course, after running for a while they warm up but initially they're def not THAT warm, I mean they're good, don't get me wrong - but then again I was in like 25 degree weather. If it's 30 degrees and up they're fine, just keep that in mind. January 21, 2011
Decent gloves Good form fitting gloves, however the fingers seem to run a bit longer and aren't form fitting at the tips so it would be difficult to use a smart phone if you needed to. But, for all intent and purpose, it does an excellent job keeping your hands toasty. January 8, 2011
Been wearing these since 2002 I have been wearing this since 2002, and they are finally getting a little nappy. If you need the opposite of mittens, these are for you. They are thin, giving you fantastic use of your hands. I would never have quested they would keep my hands warm, but I love these. They are by far the best gloves I have ever owned, and like most things Columbia, they aren't overly hot or cold. They always keep my hands perfect. I know I am going on about these, but I looked them up in hopes that they are still manufactured because after the past 8 years it is time to replace mine. I LOVE these gloves! Driving, shoveling, working outdoors, you name it (with the exception as someone noted, not good for a snowball fight--they will get wet fast), but if you work outdoors and need the use of your hands in the cold, these are the greatest gloves ever made! Ordered these due to the price and light weight. Fit is a little larger than I expected, so consider sizing down if you're on the border between 2 sizes. The material on the palm is not grippy whatsoever, it's rather a bit of what I would call "tent" material. I think that if there's some alternate material on the palms November 8, 2010
Wintertrainer II From past experience with the Wintertrainer gloves I decided to purchase another set to match my new columbia jacket. These gloves are incredibly warm and do a good job protecting your hands from the harsh cold. The only downside they have is that they get wet easily in the snow. As long as your not throwing snowballs you should be ok. October 31, 2010
Great These gloves are great when your hands need a little warmth but you are hard at work snowshoeing or cross country skiing in the high country. They wick away moisture very well and are not too bulky for holding onto poles. They have way too many tags sewn into the cuff but scissors take care of that. January 31, 2010
