size is much larger than labeled Had to reorder due to size being much larger than one would expect of that labeled. Ordered a small and it fit as if it was a large. Reordered an extra small and that shirt was the wrong color and to short. Will not stay tucked in. April 25, 2013
True to the brand As always, I am continually taken back by the performance of the columbia clothing line. This shirts is cool in the summer and warm in the winter, it really breaths and drys fast. Excellent sun protection I purchased this shirt in both its long sleeve and short sleeve version mainly for sun protection on diving and fishing trips that require long boat riding times to remote destinations. It is lightweight, very quick drying, and offers adequate protection from the sun. I am very satisfied with the performance of the shirt, fabric quality and workmanship in general.I would say it fits true to size.I'll probably buy additional shirts in other colors for different outdoor activities. Sizes are off The shirt is great but the sizes are off. I'm 5'10" 150 lb and an XS is still too big. I know it's supposed to be a loose fitting shirt but the shoulders are too wide and the body of the shirt is much to big around. I mean, I know I am skinny but I am not that small; these shirts are over-sized. There is no way an XS should be too big for me. April 12, 2013

Very functional and practical I live in Costa Rica which is a tropical environment. This shirt performs better than any shirt that I have ever owned. Is is great on the sea and in the mountains. It remains lightweight and maneuverable when wet and dries quickly. The construction is excellent and it is really wash and wear because of the material. I now own 7 short sleeves and 2 long sleeves of the Bahama II. December 18, 2012

Yea! I knew that this was going to be my favorite shirt the second that I put it on! I'm 6'2 and 210 lbs. and the large fit me perfect. The material really does block out the sun very well even though it's very light-weight. It dries very fast and it breathes well. The back is fully vented. Lots of pockets and the sleeves have a loop and velcro feature to keep the sleeves rolled up. Very comfortable, and it looks great! it is a loose fitting shirt, so working in it is no problem. I got the "Sage" color, which looks very "outdoors'y". If you want a good camping/hunting/hiking/fishing/etc..shirt that you can wear anywhere, this is the one! September 12, 2012

A multi season casual shirt You get what you pay for in life and at Collumbia. These shirts are well made of quality materal, fit great and for me are multi seasonal. I wear it alone in the warmer temperatures and as the sun heads south I wear them with a either a long sleeve or short sleeve T.I don't know how long they will last but my Columbia River Shorts are now old enough to buy me a beer and are still wearable. if these last half that long I'll be thrilled. I Own 5 Bahama II Long Sleeve Shirts This is the best shirt I have found for spending hours in the sun in the outdoors. I spend most of my weekends on the water fishing and do not go out without this shirt on. This product is top quality and great looking Recently purchased the Men's BahamaII Long Sleeve Shirt. Primary purpose was to help me stay cool and UV protection. I wore the shirt for 7 days in Canada and it performed terrific. It looks great and helped me stay cooler than when I've worn other types of shirts. The shirt has very generous proportions. Excellent shirt I bought this long sleeved shirt to protect me from UV rays. It is rated at 30 SPF. When we were kayaking, I got sprayed many times from my wife and I noticed the water beaded up instead of soaking in. It is definitely water resistant. I bet I could walk around in a light rain and stay dry. I wear the shirt when it is in the 90's and when it is cool outside. I ordered 3 more shirts, different colors. GREAT SHIRTS Styling is Great. Fit is ample...I usually wear a XL - but the shirts are a little oversized, (which is good) ,in this item I wear a Large, be sure to use the sizing charts. Columbia sports and professional gear is the best, It's tough, great looking, wears beautifully and stands up to repeated washing. Doesn't stain easily, always looks good. Could be better This shirt's material is too light. I like to rough it in the wilderness, and if this shirt had a bit heavier nylon mesh/material it would be perfect. Keep the cut and design the exact same, just slightly increase the weight of the nylon fabric so it is more durable. June 2, 2012

Everyday Fishing Shirt The Bahama is an awesome shirt. Period. with a more generous cut, and a smooth, yet hardy nylon material, it won't be the softest shirt in a closet, but by no means would I argue over wearing it every day. As a very reasonably priced button down with the utility of a much more rugged shirt, and the styling of a shirt wearable at the office, I have no complaints, and time will tell after backpacking, hiking, and putting it through the ringer, that I believe this shirt will do it all. Bonde head shirts I love these shirts. Even though I mostly wear short sleeves in warm climates, the long sleeve is easy and confortable to roll up the sleeves and fasten. They wick away moisture and dry readily even in humid conditions. Much more comfortable than T-shirts. I would prefer buttons over Velcro on the collar, but the Velcro works well. If you nomally order large shirts, downside to Medium and still have plenty of body, chest and arm room. These are the only shirts I wear in active, outdoor activities. May 11, 2012

Was better than advertised Well most know when you're buying Columbia you're getting quality, but these Bahama II shirts are by far the best fishing shirt I've ever owned. Kept the sun off me, was cool to wear on a hot day at Lake Fork in Texas. I will be buying more and I do recommend this shirt. My only suggestion would be more brighter colors for us kayak fishermen. Helps the power boats see us better. May 1, 2012

Functional I love these shirts for the versatility. I've had to go with longer sleeves for golf so I can begin the day with the sleeves rolled up using the button tie then drop them down during the tough sun times. The shirt is very light and just as cool as a golf shirt...maybe cooler with the back vents!I've also thrown the shirt on under a sport coat too. April 12, 2012

How to measure
- Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
