Product quality - awful After only the second time wearing this, the innards of the "quilt" started pilling all over the place. When I pull them off they are like spiderweb silk, pulling out even more of the insulation. There is now pilling all over the shirt. It looks absurd. I've only washed it once (according to instructions on care label), and it made things worse. The overall shirt design is really cool and unique, but as a product, a complete waste of money. Any amount of product testing would've proven this. Really makes me think twice about Columbia quality standards.Quick note on sizing, too... it's a bit short and boxy. Because of the material the boxiness gets kind of exaggerated and it would've been better to have a more fitted cut. February 20, 2012
Great Shirt, little piling The shirt is extremely warm and will definitely enable you to shed a couple layers and also looks very nice. The fabric is piling on me, but it is not extremely noticeable or destroying the shirt. Overall a good product! January 19, 2012
Not worth the money!! The shirt looks good and will keep you as warm as any other fleece type shirt. However, the shirt will begin falling apart as soon as you put it on. It's hard to explain but it seems like the inside insulation of the shirt is coming up out of the stitching of the shirt (notice the shirt has little square stitching all over it). It's like having spider webs ALL OVER YOUR SHIRT. If I had the time, I could sit here and pull these little string fuzzy things out of the stitching until the shirt came completely apart. I imagine this shirt won't last me through the winter. January 14, 2012
Nice and comfy, but too much pilling Good looking piece....comfortable fit (although the sleeves are too long). But right out of the bag I noticed some pilling, and as the day went on it got worse. After the first wash the pilling didn't seem to get any worse, but it also didn't get better. December 9, 2011
Love it but... Absolutly love this shirt. Cozy and warm and great looking. I received 4! compliments the first day I wore it. Big downside is major piling. Too bad or I'd buy 2 or 3 more! November 16, 2011
Very nicely constructed thermal Out of the box this thermal has a nice "heavy" feel without adding too much actual weight to it. Ordered it and got it just in time for the first cold snap this fall, and right on time with the normal ground delivery time frame. October 19, 2011
