Men’s Bug Shield™ Pant Saw these pants at one of the Columbia Outlet Stores but they did not have my size. When I saw that they had them on sale online, and for less than the store price, I bought them. Fit is good, quality is good and they have the added benefit of being treated with bug shield. Love the pants I use the pants for everything from work outs to travel pants to informal eating out with wife.One problem: The inseam is about 32 inches not the 30 " it was supposed to be. It cost me another $13 to get them shortened. For such an awesome company Columbia cannot get there sizing right. The QC dept gives excellent quality products but just can't get the sizing correct. On the shirt ordered with the pants I get a small, though I am a perfect medium fit in my clothing normally. September 19, 2012

These pants fit well and are very comfortable. More colors, please. I've been trying to purchase these in a different color, but no one seems to have my husbands size (30) in the other color. Any idea where I can get it? June 9, 2012
Good product Very lightweight and comfortable. Perfect fit, and yes, it keeps the bugs off. It's hard to wear long pants in the heat, but if you don't want to get eaten alive by bugs, you pretty much have to. These pants are easy to wear even when it's too hot to wear pants. They are very thin, so they're not work pants, but they are very good for recreational outdoor activities. April 3, 2012

They Work! I was a little hesitant upon ordering. I wasn’t sure if they would repel the mosquitoes here in Louisiana. These mosquitoes are really aggressive around this time of year (spring), and will still attack a person sprayed with 40% deet. They worked great! The mosquitoes were buzzing, but my legs didn’t get bit. I would much rather wear clothing that repels then to have a spray that wears off due to sweating and getting wet! March 19, 2012
Very Effective The insect-shield pants and shirt work very well. I never saw a mosquito land on me. The shirt fits good. the pants run a bit small (I needed a large) but they are also somewhat long. The only downside is that when the pants get muddy they don't wash up all that well. They retain some mud stains. March 9, 2012

These are it. For anything outdoors these are the pant you want. I prefer these over the zippered/shorts/pants. Lightweight, quick drying and durable. For wet wading in summer months these are the pants you want. Good job Columbia. August 18, 2011

Best Insext Repellant Pants Available I have tried a number of insect repellant pants from several sources. These pants fit well, have lots of pockets for gear, are rugged, and dry quickly. Highly recommended. July 10, 2011

Great hiking pants These pants are lightweight and fast-drying. I went hiking with these recently, and they were soaked from knee to ankle from the morning dew. They were dry within 15 minutes. They fit great, and do exactly what the name implies: block bugs. After a full day in the field, not one tick or mosquito bite. Awesome! Highly recommended. My only concern is that they are a bit thin, so if you are hiking through briars or other rough bushes that would be something to keep in mind. May 20, 2011
