FINALLY WARM FEET
I bought my Bugathermos during the winter of 2011 and I wanted to wait an entire winter season before rating my boots so that I could get a better understanding of them and how they are going to work best for me. These boots are expensive for most of us, but I have never found a better boot at any price. I shoot in competition pistol and rifle matches that requires me to be outside in Nebraska winters, standing or running in snow or on ice for 6 to 8 hours at a time and at 6'7" my hands and feet always got cold. For years, I tried cramming my boots with disposable heat pacs and while that works OK for yours hands in combination with a high quality glove, it doesn't work very well for your feet in an insulated tactical boot or hunting boot. Even in extreme conditions, when I wore my Bugathermos and a good pair of quality socks, my feet stayed warm for the first few hours with the power off. When I would feel the cold coming on, I would crank my boots to high until I felt the heat and then to the low setting for the rest of the day. It's also really nice to see that extra batteries are now available for backup if extra heating is needed

Love the boots
Living in the Midwest I'm enjoying the heated boots as winter sets in. I highly recommend buying extra batteries and charger. Makes it very easy to swap out when the batteries discharge without having to wait for them to recharge. And they plug into any USB port to charge.

Boot Review
Ok I purchased last years bugathermo boots but they did not heat the toes, so I purchased the bugaboot plus elect. but even thu they say theres 200 grams of insulation in the toes area there is not. So i then purchased the bugaboot orginal elect. because the toes have the insulation and the area is heated. You need the thick fluffy insulation for when the batterys run out. I could never understand why boots are desgned with lots of insulation at the top and not at the bottom where everyone wants it. The only down fall I find with the orginal is heat is in the insol, so if you need arch supports you have to cut ones to fit on top, but you will lose the heat in the back, but who care you only want to warm your toes any how. Call me and I will show you the perfect boot.

Soild construction. Great basic color. Just receveived these boots and have yet to functional test them in the snow. My prior pair of electric Bugathermos held a charge for maybe 2hrs. Will let you know how these new and improved boot do.
