Extremely comfortable I bought a pair of these dark green shorts at the Columbia store while up in Seattle. I don't like ordering clothes online since I don't know how they will fit. After wearing them for a few weeks, I ordered a second grey pair online for a lot cheaper. They are extremely comfortable and stretchy. Very nice construction and the zipper quality is solid. great pair of shorts my only complaints is the pockets on the short are too shallow and they seem to pop out. They should just add another side cargo pocket on the lefthand side and get rid of the front pockets. The shorts seem to be built well and i like them a lot so far. I also have the pants and have no complaints about them . August 8, 2012
Good hiking pants As another reviewer or two reported, the pockets are on the short side. Because of that, I might have liked zippered cargo pockets on both sides instead of just one. The pants fit great, look good, and seem to be made from good material. I needed a hiking pant that didn't creek up the backside when hiking and these are the best I've worn. Good, but flawed Shorts are comfortable. The only downside is the side pockets are too shallow. Things have a tendency to be pushed out when you move. The back pocket and a zip pocket on the front leg are the only safe ones to use. July 19, 2012
Men's Cool Creek shorts do the trick! I've worn the Cool Creek shorts in rain and sun and found they perform superbly and as advertised! Besides the shorts fitting slightly large (I need a belt to wear mine) - I could not be happier with them. July 9, 2012
OK Shorts Comfortable shorts, but the side pockets are almost unusable. The pockets are very short. I don't put anything in them (especially my phone) for fear of dropping items. Otherwise, the shorts are very comfortable and move well during hikes. July 7, 2012
Fishing shorts I purchase these shorts to try as fishing shorts. They are comfortable and work well for me. The downside is the front pockets are to small and not functional. Since I remove everything out of my pockets and leave everything in the boat it is not a problem for me. I like the material and the fit. July 6, 2012

Just what the doctor ordered. I use these as work shorts. Lucky me, shorts are prescribed work uniform. As I do a lot of lifting and running up and down latters the stretchy part of the shorts are great.The only part that I think is kind of funky is the net pockets. Since I carry keys and a box cutter in my pocket all day, the pockets don't hold up as well as traditional pocket material. NOT A BIG DEAL.For everyday shorts and boating shorts these are just what the doctor ordered. May 20, 2012

New favorite shorts I put on these shorts as soon as I got them out of the box. They're super light and very comfortable. The moisture wicking is a great feature for a hot day or hiking through a creek. The only complaint I have about these shorts is that the side pockets are a little shallower than I'd like. Stretch Short These shorts are extremely comfortable. I wear them often and have never been disappointed. The stretching aspect of the shorts makes them comfortable for any activity. Best Shorts I have ever bought I have used these shorts rock climbing and mountain biking so far and they articulate very well. Formal at the same time, they are good looking pair of shorts that serve a defensive outdoor style as well as a great look in the front country.
