Men’s Gale Warning™ Parka 4.6 5 17 17
Orange Arm Advertising I would love to get this jacket. But there is no way I will have a big neon Columbia sign on my camo gear arm. who puts orange zippers on a camo coat? April 19, 2013
Best Parka i've owned so far! I've went through a bunch of different fishing parkas. But i love the fit and feel of tis parka hands down! The Omni heat tech really works. I never got cold or hot in this parka. I recommend these to any angler looking to maintain a perfect body temp, stay dry and look as good as the pros! March 3, 2013
TRUE PERFORMANCE AS ADVERTISE AFTER WEARING THIS JACKET IN EXTREMELY COLD WEATHER AND RAINY CONDITIONS I WAS COMPLET-LY SATISFIED WITH THIS PURCHASE RELATING TO THETYPE OF WORK THAT I PERFORM DAILY IN MY JOBPERFORMANCE. February 21, 2013
Great Skiing coat!!! Found this jacket at Columbia outlet in HHI last Oct. Have been looking for Omni heat jacket for skiing and said this might work, if not it wound be great for hiking rain gear. Well I have skied in it 3 days at temps of 13 to 25 degrees and it has been fantastic! Have only worn a thermal top and light weight Columbia polar Fleece under it for skiing. Clear pocket is great for ski pass. Just bought a Columbia Ten Trail 3 Fleece to zip into the jacket to give me extra warmth when the temps get into the minus #'s and high winds of the Mt. Washington area. December 16, 2012
The Gale Warning run suits rock! The "gale" formerly known as "squall" is the hottest looking run suit on the market for fishermen. The omni-heat tech provides ample warmth in even the coldest conditions. For added warmth just zip in a liner and the suit still does not lose its functionality. Many suits force you to sacrifice maneuverability for warmth, but not this one!! December 5, 2012
Awesome Set up This jacket with the havey liner is awesome. Great shell for rain and with the liner it is WARM! Great pockets and hood. Would recomend to anyone! November 19, 2012
The best Jacket I have ever owned! I'm a full time charter boat captain in the Florida keys. I was looking for a heavy duty jacket that will keep me warm and dry during winter season. Well I found the perfect one! This jacket is and feels amazing, it's lite and really comfortable. I been wearing it every day for my regular 20+ mile run to the fishing grounds. It keeps me warm and dry when it's cold and windy but it also feels very comfortable on the not so cold days. I really recommend this jacket you will be happy. November 17, 2012
Light and Warm Great parka. About 1/3 the weight of my old one. The Parka, as I find with most Columbia gear, ran a little small. I wear XL clothing, so I was glad I ordered XXL. Just enough room for a sweatshirt.I wear the Parka and bibs for cold, wet conditions fishing Spring & Fall Salmon on the Columbia River and Winter Harbor, B.C.Thanks for the great Parka. My Gale Warning Parka This Parka is the lightest, warmest, and most comfortable I have ever used. When I hunt it keeps me very warm and when I'm fishing or in wet condition it keeps me dry. The pockets are in the right place and zippers keep all of my gear in their place. This parks is built well and I plan on using it for years to come. November 5, 2012
awesome jacket By far the warmest and dryest rain jacket I have ever used. I fish approximately 20 tournaments each year and spend a minimum of 100 days a year on the water and this product is amazing! February 13, 2012
Awesome As Always This jacket is simply amazing! Used this in our tournaments in the fall on St. Clair and Coldwater Michigan. It kept me warm and dry the whole day and was not restricting at all when casting all day! I was surprised how well it kept me warm in the win especially flying at 65+ mph on a boat. Highly recommend to whoever fishes late in the year! January 19, 2012
Great stylsih coat I have a lot of rain gear but this coat is the best by far. It fits and feels like a casual coat. I really like the ability to zip fleece or heavier interchange coats into it. i highly recommend this coat. January 14, 2012
Warm and Dry! I am a full time fishing guide on Dale Hollow Lake in TN. It gets very cold here in the fall and winter, but that doesn't stop us from catching our quary, the smallmouth bass. I purchased this Shell as the final outer layer of my cold weather gear and I was not dissapointed. It is very warm thanks to the Omni Heat Technology and the wind is no match for this Parka. It stops it in its tracks as well as the rain. I have spent countless hours in the rain with this Parka and all layers underneath are dry when I get back to the dock. Very important to me! Thumbs up on this one Columbia! January 1, 2012
Camo is not quiet This is an awesome jacket, but the Camo jacket is not quiet if you plan to use it for hunting. October 4, 2011
Awesome Rain Suit I finally got around to use this product this past weekend and was blown away. Spent all day fishing in the rain with the weather at the start of tournament time around 33 degrees wearing a pair of jeans a t shirt and a sweatshirt and I didn't even need the sweatshirt. No thermals, no base layer and I was warm as can be while everybody else is wearing 5 layers and still cold. If you fish a lot of cold weather this is a necessity for you! October 3, 2011
This is the deal!!! When Columbia says bring it they are not kidding. I have the matching bibs to go with this. The Jacket packs a punch let me tell you. I have owned several parkas but this is a step ahead of the rest because of its lightweight and breathability. The length is just right to so it protects you from the harshest weather conditions. I am 5'9 and 175lbs and the Med gets the job done. Another Happy custotmer here February 14, 2011
Awesome I am a pro tournament fisherman, and rely heavily on my rain suits to keep me dry and warm. I have owned many on the market, but the Squall is so lightweight without sacrificing warmth with the added omni heat liner. Stay dry and warm with less weight. And if you run cold like I do, zipping in an added layer like a down vest makes it perfect for winter days. January 25, 2011
