Nice Hoodie - But Tall is Really Tall Just received this hoodie and while it is nice, it's likely going back. At 6'6" I'm always on the lookout for Tall sizing, and at 200lbs I usually need a Large for a trim fit, XL for a looser fit. Went for the L-Tall in this and it's a pretty trim fit. A little too trim for throwing over any substantial shirts - maybe just a t-shirt underneath. But my real issue is the length. This hoodie in the Tall length is really long. The bottom is well below my waist - and I just can't get used to that. It might shrink up in wash, but then the trim fit may be too tight - so I won't take the chance. December 2, 2012
Tall size that is truly tall This is the only hoodie I've ever found in a tall size that is actually what I consider tall. I don't know what to make of the other reviewer who claims to be 6'4'' and says this hoodie comes down to the middle of his thighs. I am 6'3'' and this hoodie is the perfect length. October 12, 2012
Great, but sizing is funky I bought this for my husband, and he loved it. But, I had to quickly return it because the sizing is funky. The XL is almost too small. And he loved the fact that it was longer than most sweaters he's tried on (which is what he wants in a sweater), but the XLT was like a dress on him. We had to go into a store and get another one, but he's hooked on these sweaters. He doesn't want any other brand. February 15, 2012
Made for an ostrich So, last Fall I bought a jacket from Columbia that I love. I bought the Large/Tall size and have been wearing it every single day since I took it out of the shop in Seattle. I bought the Large/Tall size of the Hart Mountain Hoddie based on how well the jacket fit me, and that turned out to be a huge mistake. I'm 6'4" with a fairly long torso, and the L/T of this sweatshirt went down to the middle of my thighs. It was way too long and has an inconsistent fit when compared to the other Tall size Columbia product I bought.The other issue was the size of the neck. I could barely get my head through. I might have a biggish head (7 3/4), but it was extremely tight and very uncomfortable around my neck once I got my head squeezed through. This would have made it unwearable even if the length was okay.Summary: Large/Tall size is really really long, and the neck hole is tiny. I've learned my lesson about buying stuff online without trying it on first. The quality of the item seems high but I didn't really get a chance to confirm that since the fit was so poor. Too slim cut for most I purchased this for a gift, he normally wears a large tall in most brands, but this hoodie is extremely very slim cut. Was able to give to my son who is very tall and slim, so it fit him fine, but would not work for many body types. January 4, 2012

Glad I bought this hoodie I purchased this hoodie as a Christmas gift for my adult son. He is particular about what he will wear, but he loved this one. He had one from Columbia for a few years that had become very tattered and wanted one close to that one. I was glad that he liked this one. He is over six feet and over 200 pounds. Sometimes he can be hard to buy for; not all "tall" clothing items are created equal. And not many are made of this quality. December 26, 2011
Best hoodie out there. This is the heaviest, softest, and most comfortable hoodie I've ever owned. On the expensive side, but worth it. Have to disagree with some who've said the tall sizes are too long... As one who always has to search out tall sizes, I find this one just right and consistent with other clothing. December 13, 2011
Tall sizes, WAY TOO BIG I am 6'4", I buy only Med. tall and Lg. tall sizes for shirts. This is the only torso garment in a tall sizing that I have ever seen that is TOO LONG. I found the tall sizes ridiculously long, coming to mid-thigh on me at 6'4". Product great, tall sizing designer is crazy. :) November 16, 2011
Don't buy Tall sizes! At 6'4", the regular size in this fits just a bit too short. Don't buy the Tall sizes. The tall is 6" longer in the waist (it comes to my finger tips), and the same length in the sleeves. It feels like I'm wearing a dress and the sleeves are still a 1/2" from my wrists...disappointing. How to measure
- Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
