Love these socks I bought these socks for myself(I am a woman). I bought size medium and they fit great. I wear a size 9 in women's shoes. I like a little thicker sock when wearing my work boot. These work great!! July 12, 2012

Proven Perfect On the advice of a salesperson at a local Columbia outlet, I bought 3 pair of these style socks just prior to a 50 mile trek on the Appalachian Trail. They not not only endured and outdid themselves on the trail but I now wear these style socks, exclusively, on a daily basis. And year round! They are comfortable, durable and genuinely 'wicking'. Excellent socks! I purchased these to replace the Columbia heavy-weight boot socks I had used in the US Army 17 years ago. Talk about a change/advance in technology! At first I couldn't believe they had wool in them--they are light-weight, soft, supple, and stretchy, not at all like the scratchy "monsters" they replaced. And boy are they warm! These socks are GREAT! I wear them with cold-weather boots when the temperature is in the 30's and 40's and can't say enough good about them. The top-side mesh zone keeps you warm yet breathes at the same time. You will not be disappointed! November 16, 2011

Hot socks. These are the best socks in my drawer. Made with merino wool and synthetics they are endlessly comfortable and keep my feet warm without overheating. My favorite for spring and fall. I own the heavy hikers for winter wear and the light hiker for summer. These are easily the best socks on the market. September 20, 2011
