Great Soft Shell! This was a gift for my son, so this is his review: The color is surprisingly good (not too garish) -- it is Red Element. The jacket itself lives up to its press keeping me warm but not too warm. It also keeps me dry in wet weather as long as it isn't a downpour. It meets all my needs. Thanks for another great product. tall son My son is 6'10" and had a hard time finding clothes that fit, I ordered this in 3xl tall (he would normally wear a 2xl, but from other comments I decided the jacket ran small) Jacket fit him perfect and he loves it. Thanks January 4, 2012
Too tight in arms Based on other reviews, I ordered a size larger (2XT) than the Columbia Steens Mtn jacket (XLT) that I have and fits well. But even with the larger size, the Landlash was still much too tight in the arms. Disappointing, because otherwise I liked the style and construction of the jacket. December 29, 2011
Great light Jacket The jacket was great looking and I liked the trim fit. This jacket would work great if you just need a lgiht spring/fall jacket. There is not much insulation. I got Large Tall (I'm 6'3" 200lb athletic build) and it fit great but you can only wear a light layer under it. I tried wearing a hoodie under the jacket and it couldn't fit anymore. I was looking for a heavier jacket so I returned but I would have kept if I needed a light jacket November 14, 2011
Not big or tall I was very excited when I saw that comlumbia had outdoor gear in 4XT. I have never been able to find anything my size. when i got the jacket I was very excited and when i put it on i realized that Columbia just like every other brand doesn't know what Big and Tall means. This jacket barley fit over my arms. and was also too small in every aspect. I was very disappointed in the whole thing. The arms where the right size to fit a friend that wears a medium. Very disappointed. Someone who is 4XT will not fit in this jacket. Maybe a 2XT will. November 7, 2011
Nice, lightweight soft shell in athletic fit. Good value. I think this runs small compared to a "classic" fit but personally I really like the more "athletic", trim fit for this type of garment. I'm 6'2" and 215. The way this jacket fits I could probably not fit a really bulky fleece under it. But a mid-weight middle layer would fit just fine. And for me that's exactly right. 6' 6" 220 lbs --- not a good fit even in XL Tall Most columbia gear fits me great in XL Tall... this just didn't seem to be cut quite the same as the others. I returned. I still say great quality, just not the right fit for me. October 12, 2011
