Nothing but love for Columbia What can I say, Columbia makes great, GREAT gear. I was looking for a good medium weight glove and these fit the bill perfectly. They seem to be made very well made, they are comfortable to wear and they are plenty warm for their intended use. I picked them up in black and they are a great looking glove.I generally wear a size XL in all brands/styles of gloves and I would say that these are true to size, however they are slightly on the snug side of the spectrum but I think it makes for a better fit. So if you usually wear an XXL, its probably best not to try and cram your digits into these. As some have mentioned, the thumbs are slightly longer than they need to be when you have a closed fist but with an open palm my thumb goes all the way to the end. This issue is minimal so don't let it scare you away from these gloves.Overall I am very satisfied with my order and even more satisfied with Columbia's customer service, I got a great pair of gloves for a fair price and the shipping was fast. Great Winter Walking glove We are vacationing in Whistler BC and the gloves are great for general wear and keep your hands warm for several hours at 30 degrees. They have a nice leather like palm, but will get wet at the fingers if in the snow. For the price they are very nice. December 10, 2011
too small, rigid I bought these in a size large, for driving a boat in very cold weather (just steering and throttle). But I can't bend my fingers! They are too tight, and I think if I ordered a larger pair the fingers would be way too long. Overall, I was disappointed, although I will say they seem very well constructed and very warm. Thumbs are too long. First thing I noticed when wearing this glove was how long the thumbs were. There about an inch of thumb space. It makes me look like I have freakishly long thumbs.Other than that, the rest of the glove fits snuggly. The fingers fit all the way to the tip of the glove.The glove keeps my hand very warm outside in freezing weather. I'm impressed. Omni-heat really works.I really like the Columbia diamond logo on the side of the glove, looks attractive.This glove also is very stiff, it's kind of hard to bend your fingers. It's really hard to bend my pinky.Overall, I like this glove. It looks nice, fits snuggly, and warm! November 26, 2011
