All the time I wear these shoes constantly. I live in Michigan where it's a combination of either cold and snowy or cold and rainy in the winter and this shoe is great for everything.My initial purchase was for camping and canoeing in colder temperatures but after the temperature dropped I started wearing these to work and I can't seem to stop.I wore these shoes with my hiker heavy socks the other day and it was so warm I had to change shoes. I very much like having that problem versus the alternative. February 9, 2012
Great hiking boot I received my boots on Thursday and hiked up 2 high peaks in the Adirondack mountains on Monday. The boots were very comfortable and kept my feet amazingly dry and warm, even while going off trail through a couple feet of wet snow. I took one star off because there is a spot in the lacing of each shoe that digs into my upper foot rather uncomfortably. Other than that the feel, traction, and durability of the shoes were great! I spend a lot of time on my feet in many different conditions and I look forward to seeing how well these shoes perform. February 8, 2012

Fit, feel are great very rugged. Wasn't sure about ordering boots online but these are perfect! They looked good online but even look and feel better in person. Absolutely no complaints highly recommended. December 27, 2011
Didn't like them I have a pair Winter Tech BM 1395-255 that fit like gloves and are very comfortable. I wanted another pair but they have been discontinued. I was hoping that the Shasta Vista would be comparable but they were not. They feel like cardboard on the inside and were simply not comfortable. December 23, 2011
Great shoe Best fit I've had in a shoe for a while! Only issue was the break in, haven't had to do that for a while thus 1 star off.I use these shoes for work on roofs, ground and in the tree's. December 13, 2011

Consistent Performance This is my third set of these boots. I have been in Afghanistan for two years and this boot easily handles this rugged and unforgiving terrain. From the snad and dust to the razor sharp rocks, these boots have performed beyond expectation. The competitor's boot lasted only 2 months before the sole and sides were a tattered mess.I would recommend this boot as the only alternative to military issue footwear. December 7, 2011
I am very pleased with these boots! I have been wearing Columbia boots for several years during the winter months, working construction in Idaho. I ordered these in hopes they would be as comfortable and warm as my old boots, which lasted two years. These are very comfortable, and keep my feet warm and dry all day outside on the job. The best boots I ever had. I ihave try different boots for work and wear daily and these ones are the best ones I ever try. Since first day used it feels absolutly comfortable. and the fit is really excellent. I feel like using sneakers but with more protection. November 25, 2011

Comfortable with excellent support These boots are very comfortable, my feet stay cool and dry. Great ankle support. Used them for paintball, running in the forest and climbing fairly steep hills. They performed exceptionally. September 18, 2011

finally a shoe that fits These shoes are great. I have only had them for about 3 weeks but they broke in very fast and work well. I have worn them in warm conditions and right after a rain storm. The grip is great and they stay dry when wet. My feet are a little narrow and I always get heel slip with other mid hikers. Not true with these shoes they fit great. They also don't cause your feet to sweat like others. Columbia seems to be the only company that makes shoes that fit my feet and I will not wear another brand. April 19, 2011
Please make wider boots I have tiny but wide feet. I generally order an 8 EE. Columbia does not make wide boots in sizes smaller than nine. I ordered an 8 March 4, 2011
Great boot I tried on a lot of different brands of hiking shoes and had it narrowed down to a pair of Merrell's and this shoe. I chose this shoe because it fit better and I think it had better features for the price. The person at the store told me about the reinforced sole and how Omni-tech is supposedly better than GoreTex. I rated it 4 out 5 stars because I don't know how long they will hold up. If they last any decent amount of time then they are definitely 5 stars. Just to let everyone know, I wear either a 12 wide or a 13 and these fit perfectly in a 13. Felt like a glove for my foot.
