Good as shorts. I cut the inner panel out and wear underwear instead. Not good as swim trunks; belt is not strong enough to keep shorts up in water.

waist band
I expected the belt to extended all around the waist. The belt was only a small front and the rest was a weak elastic band. not happy.

Love these Shorts
I am a XXL but tried on the Snake River XXL and they were a bit tight in the seat so I went up to a XXXL. These are a bit on the large side but I love them. I just pull the draw string tight and take off. I have since bought 2 more pair. I used them at the beach as a bathing suit for a week. I use them to just throw on on Sunday morning to grab a cup of coffee. You can't find a better wearing rugged short.

Some What Satisfied
placed the order on Wednesday(mid day) and asked for Two day Shipping. the item didn't get processed till Thursday Eve. and didnt recieve package till monday Eve. Was hopping to have product for Friday. Shorts are true to fit.

Snake river shorts
Enough pockets to hold essentials and they stay on in cliff jumps and coming through the surf badly in an ocean kayak. What more can you ask for.
