Great repeat purchase! I bought these for a friend--this time he asked for 2 pairs! He obviously loves them! April 1, 2012
Comfortable shoe with a few quirks The shoe is comfortable. The size is consistent to previous shoe sizes. The materials used in the construction, especially the part around the opening, seem to reduced quality. The back (the part touching the heel) is a little high and stiff. March 1, 2012
The shoe that fits The first day I received these shoes I put them to the test. I headed out past Zig Zag to go play in the snow with my truck. I got stuck once and had to dig myself out. The shoes kept me dry and I didn't slip once. When I got home later that day I noticed I had a coolant issue with my truck. Well it was raining steady for about 4 hours night. I worked on my truck and was soaked in the process. My feet stayed dry throughout the whole repair. I was surprised how much traction I had while standing on a wet bumper. The shoes fit true to size for me. My feet are a little wide, I didn't notice any issues there. They are comfortable and you dont notice shoes while wearing them. November 28, 2011
Backpacking China After only two hours of walking around downtown Beijing I came to lament the shoes' complete lack of arch support. Also, after only five days of wearing the shoes that included only one strenuous hike, the insole of the right shoe started to slip up the heel. My incomplete fix to the problem was to removing the insole and re-attach it to the sole with a piece of duct tape. Aside from those two problems the shoes were great but they were big enough to keep me from recommending them. June 10, 2011
Switchback runs quite wide in the foot for this brand of Columbia shoe. So wide that I can only use for general walking around at work. May 28, 2011
