Holding up well
I've been wearing these shoes for nearly 8 months probably 5 days a week and they still look in great condition. I've found them to be really comfortable as a lightweight everyday shoe. Pretty good fit and very breathable.
I'll be honest and say I haven't done any hiking or trail running in these so I'm not sure if they would hold up as good under those conditions.

My New Sneakers!
Your men's switchback sneakers are the best fit and most durable I've had. This will be my third pair. Our shoe store (DWS) doesn't always have Columbia's brands, so I now order direct from Columbia.

Great Versatile Shoe!
I found this shoe to be very versatile. It's very light and has a soft cushion inside. These are very important to me as a Bass Angler because when I'm standing for more than eight hours I experience less fatigue especially to my back. This not only enhanced my fishing efficiency but also in other activities such as running, hiking, or simply having a peaceful stroll in the park. Also, can't beat Black and Yellow! Sweet Color!

Nice shoe
From the 1st time I put the shoe on it felt great. Very comfortable shoe and fits like it should. Love the look and feel too. Now we'll just have to see if the sole stays attached to the shoe.

Switchback
a little disapointed in the color after seeing the swatch on the internet. too Olive Drab. thought they might have been a little more greyish.
but they are lightweight which is what I was after. comfortable so far - still need a little more break in time. I'd purchase them again even after only having them for a minth. I was after a replacement to my Pegora's that I could not replace. Great shoe so far. Decent price too.

comfy shoes!
I wear these to commute to work in the summer and wear them all day long. They hold up quite well to the beating they take on concrete all day. Without a WPB they ventilate very well to keep my feet cool and dry on the sales floor. The color goes great with jeans!

I keep going back.........
these shoes are just THE ones that I keep coming back to. They last longer than I can stand!! They wash well, fit good, and seem to be the best thing I can find for my feet!

Shoe too Large
Unfortunately, when these shoes arrive, they were too large and had to be sent back. This was especially disappointing as I ordered the same size as a previous pair of Columbia shoes that fit great.
Due to the size issues, I was not able to try out these shoes, so have no comment about the function.

Great Shoe
I have found Columbia to be the right shoe for my work in the Rainforest of Guyana. The Omni tread soles keep me from slipping on the wet terrin. The comfort and look of the blue and gold Men's Switchback 2 is by far the best tennis/hiking shoe I have ever wore and so light weight that my legs stay fresh long into the day. Well worth the price. A Great shoe!!!!

Very Comfortable!
I had a older pair of Columbia similar hikers for a few years and replaced them recently with similar by LL Bean. I found the Beans to be painfully uncomfortable and returned them and went back to the Switchbacks.
They are so comfy from the first time I wore them and I put arches in them and wear them all day. I can't recommend them enough. I got mine from Cabelas and will certainly buy Columbia shoes again when these or others need replacing.
They are well build, durable and water repellent plus comfy. Pefect for every day wear.

Good product like the others of your brand I have purchased
I just bought the shoes worn then I cannot give an opinion on the long term. But when I worn the bought shoes, it seems to have slippers.
At the moment, I'm very satisfied of the purchase.

Great Shoe
This is my second pair and they are very comfortable. These days when so many shoes seem to be as ugly as possible with the brightest neon colors you can imagine, these shoes are attractive and subdued. The tongue is nice and fluffy, too (it always amazes me when shoes are made with a really hard tongue that hurts the top of your foot).

Light-weight and comfortable
I bought these shoes to replace a worn out pair of sneakers that I use for my daily activities. The shoes are lightweight and comfortable, but I worry that they may not be very durable. I've used them for about two weeks now and the rubber "cushion" area has abrasion and compression wear and tear. If the shoes last six months, I'd be happy to buy another pair.

Great shoe but 1 slight problem
Like the shoe, like the looks, like the feel, like the tread, like the weight, like the coloring, like the breatability, like the quality, but the tongue has a problem as the stitched transition of fabric (gray to light gray as seen above) is just in the wrong location and there isn't enough padding to cover the pressure from the shoelace. The lacing pushes on the bunched up stitching which then rubs against me. I can't tighten the laces up as much as I would like to.

Switchback 2
Looked for quite awhile for a new shoe. I decided on Columbia's Switchback 2 because of the light weight. Boy did I make a great decision! I hope the are as durable as the great feeling they have on my feet. Good job Columbia!

Comfortable, light, durable
These are the lightest workout shoes that I have ever worn. Hmmm....big name brands at twice the price....or very comfortable, lightweight, and sturdy Columbia shoes at a great value? You make the call!
