Get Shirt for Work or Play I bought this shirt to use as a work shirt in the desert of Southern California. What I have learned is that I will wear this shirt wherever I am fishing in Michigan or hiking through the California desert. This shirt breaths very well in hot conditions over 100 degrees. It also dries fast to keep you cool and comfortable, and is incredibly durable. I will likely buy several more of this shirt going forward. September 14, 2012
Great Summer shirt. Has look of a dress shirt with comfort of a Summer shirt. Long sleeves good for Sun protection but cool material and looks good with sleeves rolled up. No ironing needed. Customer Service staff very helpful in changing the order. June 5, 2013

Best Shirts EVER!!! I love these shirts, that's why I alsmost have every color available. Also, I use them as my everyday uniform for work ,plus I also own quite a few for my persoanl use.Very light and COMFORTABLE, especially in Hot weather, and no need to take them to the cleaners if you remove them out of your dryer right away. Love the shirts hate the Color titles I have about 8 of these shirts in varying colors, short and long sleeved. I would wear these every day if my wife and boss would let me. My only complaint is the Color names. I recently ordered "Zing" thinking it is closer to red than the bright orange I received. Granted, I am a little on the color blind side but these are men's shirts. Can we not call them simple colors like "Orange", "Lite Green", "Dark Blue", etc.? Not to say I do not like the shirt or the color but can we please simplify this? April 26, 2013

Central America Some contractor personnel in Central America that I know wear this shirt...and they always seemed comfortable. I felt that was a message to try one (then more). Fantastic in warm humid climes. Actually works better than you might think even in the cool NW.If heading south, best to get a few of these. Great business casual shirt Love the quality and functionality. Especially for my trips to the Middle East. The snap pockets look much more neat and crisp compared to the other shirts from Columbia with the fold over Velcro that just does not look neat and does not stay closed the longer it is owned. Nice styling The fabric on this shirt is dressier than typical 'fishing' shirts. I usually wear a large, though, even checked the many shirts in my closet, and was disappointed when the fit on this shirt was baggy and the sleeves were a bit long. As I was getting ready for an overseas move, I didn't have the time or inclination to return or exchange it, and I can certainly fish or do other activities in a shirt that's a bit too large rather than too small. Simply a Great Shirt I bought a couple of these about two years ago, and just purchased three more a few days ago. The fabric is soft, comfortable, and sturdy, but doesn't wrinkle. You can cram these in a suitcase or a backpack and they emerge looking great. They dry quickly. I like the button-down collar - actually a key feature for me. I've worn them canoeing, fishing, hiking, backpacking, and just for everyday. I took a couple canoeing in the Canadian wilderness (Quetico Provincial Park) and my buddies hassled me for bringing a "dress shirt" - it looked that good after being crammed in a pack for days. My comment concerning fit is based on a size small, which fits me great in the shoulders, but could be a little smaller in the body. January 16, 2013

Three for Three I just purchased my third color in this exact same shirt from the Columbia PFG series. I love the fit and look of these shirts. In fact, I love everything about them. Kayak Fishing Essential I absolutely love these shirts. They are super lightweight, cool, and comfortable. With all the time I spend on the water chasing largemouth and striped bass, I have become very aware of the dangers of sun exposure. Wearing these shirts, I can keep them buttoned under the hottest sun without boiling alive. I have yet to find one negative aspect of this line of shirts. I Love These Shirts I'm an avid saltwater fly fisherman--tarpon, bonefish, permit, etc and I appreciate good fishing style shirts.These shirts have several features that set them apart. They are extremely light weight and thin keeping you cool and dry, and they have lots of great functional pockets for your stuff. Most of all, I love the semi-stretchy fabric, which is unique to the Tamiami II, leaving you with a free and unrestricted feeling. They come in tons of cool colors too. Shirt made too large. Of three shirts , each a different brand (size small), purchased online on the same day, this shirt is too large in the shoulders and waist. The sleeves hang as a result of the excess width of shoulders. I didn't want a fitted shirt, but this is excessive.This shirt was the most expensive of the three.Both of the other shirts fit very well in the shoulders and waste. August 28, 2012

Great hot weather shirt This shirt is very comfortable in the summer heat. It wears well and protects one whether working in the yard or fishing in the tropical sun. I have two so I'm "covered" for all my outdoor activities. I live in Hawaii half the year and my Tamiami shirts get a real workout on the water and on the beach. The fit is slightly oversize. My new favorite shirt! I travel all over the world and usually find myself in hot, tropical climates. I have owned many similar quick dry shirts in the past, but this is now my new favorite. Great multi-use shirt This is a wonderful all-around shirt. I wear it at home over a tee-shirt for those not-quite-warm enough mornings. It is also my go-to shirt on camping trips. Awesome Shirt! I own a bunch of Columbia shirts and this is a favorite. The material is very lightweight and thin but still durable. It is soft and extremely comfortable, and the fit is generous without being too baggy (unlike Columbia's Bonehead shirts, for example, which are cut a bit larger than I would prefer). You can't see it in the pictures, but it has a very subtle small box-checked texture that looks really nice. The Tamiami II also comes in a great variety of colors (my favorites being Tidewater blue, Iris Glow purple, and Autumn Orange, which are past years' colors). Like many others, after buying one of these I quickly added several more and have come to wear them almost all the time. They are perfect for hot weather given the light weight and quick drying properties, along with the shoulder vents on the back for added ventilation, though they'll also handle moderately cool weather too. These things are so versatile too - they look great fishing, in a casual business environment, out on the town, etc. Wear them with jeans, khakis, convertible hiking/fishing pants, etc. They work with long pants or with shorts, with the roll up sleeves giving them an even more casual flair. Nothing bad to say about these, other than the fact that if you buy one you will want more! May 3, 2012

Toughest and most comfortable shirt i've ever owned I absolutely love this Shirt. One day while i was out fishing,I lost this shirt. On our way back from fishing my boats motor got stopped by something and when i lifted it out of the water, there was my shirt all tangled up in the motor. When i managed to untangle it the only damage i found on the shirt was a very small tear about an inch wide in the shirt. This is hands down the best shirt i have ever owned. It is also one of the most comfortable shirts i own as well. It keeps you cool even if you wear the sleeves down and then, you don't have to put sun lotion on and get your skin all greasy. it also keeps you comfortable when wet or cold. March 10, 2012

How to measure
- Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
