Have purchased black, gray & now Cordovan colors For at least four years/seasons I've lived in the Columbia Techsun mens flip flop. Started with black and now swear by the Cordovan color because it's not as hot/dark in the sun as the black and not as bright looking as the 'Flax' color so is able to be worn with just about anything from jeans on up to shorts.Build Quality: each pair has lasted quite a while. The current Cordovan (Techsun III) I've had since they've come out. They show absolutely no wear and The first pair after a year or so separated the top layer from the bottom right at the seam of glued cardboard. Another pair, the toe post popped out but that was completely my fault. All of them are made with this Techlite material which may make your feet sweat, but, add to their ability to last and take abuse from nature.Comfort: each pair, possibly because of my feet, have taken a couple days of solid walking & sometime red marks on top of foot from upper to break in. Other than that, due to heel support, are probably the most comfortable flip flops around.Cost: the online price ($35) seems reasonable for a pair of flip flops of this quality. Probably would think anywhere around a list price of $29.95-$39.95 would seem fair. Down the road from where I work is a Premium Stores Outlet that has a Columbia Outlet. Religiously, most, if not all of the Techsun flip flops they have are on sale for $24.90 regardless of color or if their from Techsun I or III.Use case: this might be due to where I live but I wear these with everything. Jeans, shorts, casual khaki pants. For someone who hates sandals (which is what these flip flops are based on) I find these to be the perfect in-the-middle flip flop. They're certainly not a $50-$80 leather pair that can be worn in casual environments and they're certainly not a shower shoe that should only be worn at the beach. I actually feel these can be worn in any environment and still look good.Conclusion: I own more Columbia gear than I can count. That's not because of my age, but because of their quality. For an outdoor company that only offers two pairs of flip flop styles (but a TON of sandal styles) at any given time, they truly have offered the best product for the best price. May 21, 2013
Comfortable flip flops I've been searching for a comfortable flip flop to wear on the boat and for casual wear. The Techsun flop is very comfortable after a full day on the boat or walking around town. April 28, 2013
Larger than Life? Surprised when they arrived that they were larger than I expected, for my size. Wearing them, I am mostly happy and assume the extra rubber is for protection? If I were ordering them again, I would order the next size down. September 28, 2012

No as good as the old Sun Chill Thong I have had 6 pairs of Sun Chill Thongs and I love them, but they are over 5 years old and beat to death. Wanted new sandles for vacation. Could not find Sun Chill so bought these sandels. My old Sun Chill are size 10 so I bought size 10, they are to small for my feet and the fit is bad. I would like to get the old Sun Chill Thongs again, Were can I find Them, Can you make them again? July 19, 2012

Blowout! Very comfortable sandal but didnt last more than 2 months of wear before blowing out the part between the toes.Looks like the adhesive / glue that was used failed and pulled up thru the sole. Will be returning these to Columbia to see what they think of it.Other than that, they are extremely comfortable and I do appreciate all the traction. Would of been the perfect flip flop for the campsite had the glue not failed. July 7, 2012
this product has great features,comfortable ware After waring this shoes for one month,the pain in my husban's feet and legs went away.We have gone through four pairs of these. The problem being that if they get wet for a long time the soles seperate. The manfucture puts a layer of paper between he soles and when the papers gets wet the glue fails. My husband loves them so much we now take them to a shop that glues them back together. Good shoes just keep them dry. July 3, 2012

Soles came off These are my second pair of Columbia flips, I wear them all the time. My first pair lasted 4 years before the thong broke on one foot. These did not make it a year before the whole sole came unglued on both feet. Disappointed with Columbia on these, usually like their products and I do like these. They are comfortable, have good arches for sandles and fit well but they fell apart. Don't think I will buy these again. June 23, 2012

A great outdoor sandal These sandals aren't the prettiest on the market, but they are tough, rugged, and comfy. They are the perfect set of sandals to slip on after a long day on your feet. I was particularly impressed with the sole, which is well made and has great tread. June 7, 2012

Rugged Sandals?! Growing up near the beach in FL, I am used to spending lots of time in sandals. These are among the nicest I've owned. The band was a bit tight and took a week or so to break in, but now they are comfortable. They feel quite durable and have very good traction in the Adirondack terrain. This is the most rugged sandal I have ever owned. May 6, 2012

Techsun Flip III Review I love these flip-flops. Comfortable, hard wearing and good looking, they work in all kinds of settings, around the house, on the beach, fishing. This is the second pair I've had, the first ones lasted a couple of years and finally gave up the ghost where the sole split in two although I've repaired them with some gorilla glue and still use them at the pool!Highly recommended. Quality Product however too small for my wide foot! Great Quality flips, however I have a wide foot so I have to return them. Make sure if you have a wide foot to look for another brand of flip/flops. March 15, 2012
Comfy even for a big man! I took a chance and ordered these for my son who is a big man, 6'4", 300+ lbs., size 15 shoe. He tells me they are very comfortable and he really likes the way they look. I was just happy to find a flip-flop type sandal in his size that offered some support! I hope they hold up well over time! February 17, 2012
