Men’s Triple Trail™ II Shell 4.5 5 11 11
High Quality Shell This is a high quality shell. You will want to layer properly for skiing or other cold weather outdoor activities. I wore this shell skiing and it worked for me, but I would have liked to see a couple of smaller pockets for stuff. Large front chest pockets are great for larger items and were very comfortable to ski with a water bottle, banana and some CLIF bars in the pockets. This shell runs small in size so I was glad that I ordered the XXL. April 4, 2013
Too tight I had to return the jacket. I'm 56, 5'10" tall and 200lbs. I ordered a large because that is my standard size. The jackets sleeves went completely beyond my fingers. My arms needed to be 5 inches longer. There was also a lot of tightness in the shoulders and armpits. More so when sitting in a vehicle. Standing upright it was very comfortable but bending over or sitting was uncomfortable. Apparently I need to be a tall ectomorph. I'm done buying jackets over the web. March 27, 2013
Great jacket I was a little apprehensive about this jacket as it was replacing one of my all-time favorites. All in all this is a great jacket. Windproof, waterproof, exactly what I wanted. I am not crazy about the sleeve "cuffs," but they are workable. The fabric is kind of stiff, which is quite noticeable when you are sitting, but not too bad when active. Fit is active, meaning tighter around the mid-section, but very comfortable for me. February 19, 2013
AWESOME PRODUCT, BUT IT IS BLUE, NOT GRAPE I OREDED THE JACKET NOT KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT A SHELL JACKET WAS, AND WHAT I GOT WAS AWESOME. IT IS THIN, LIGHT AND WARM. I WEAR A FLEECE OR HOODY UNDER IT IF IT IS COLDER OUT. I HAVE 5 OTHER HEAVY COLUMBIA PARKAS, SO IT IS GOOD TO HAVE A LIGHTER ONE SO I DONT GET OVER HEATED. THE ONLY THING THAT SURPRISED ME IS IT IS BLUE, NOT LIGHT GRAPE, AND GRAPE IS MY FAVORITE COLOR, BUT IT IS SO AWESOME OTHERWISE, IT MAKES UP FOR IT. I LOVE THE SILVER HOOD AND BODY LINING, IT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE SOMETHING AN ASTRONAUT WOULD WEAR. February 18, 2013
Wicked Dry Wore this bad boy boarding last week in Seattle and had a great time. It was so warm that I was still sweating despite only having an under-armour compression shirt underneath. Only one thing that I dislike is that when sitting down and zipped up, the stomach area pops up. The water proofing solution used on the zipper keeps the area tight. The fit overall is slim. If you are hoping for a traditional baggy boarder look, you should look somewhere else.Love the neck guard. Very much so appreciate for those who prefer to let their stubble grow out on the weekends. Also, the material used for the pockets was unexpected from a textual standpoint. It seemed like it was flexible and quite deep. You could stuff an oven in here.In summary, the coat is rad. I would suggest it to anyone looking for a slim fit shell coat. Next test, Jackson! February 8, 2013
Good, solid product I like this jacket, only had it for two weeks but served me well both in DC's cold and windy weather as well as in rainy conditions in Africa. Fits very well. The shiny interior is the only small point that bothers me otherwise the exterior colour (black) is excellent. January 31, 2013
sweet jacket bro this jacket is sweet and worth about 325$ , what a deal January 15, 2013
Great jacket but it's not what I imagined This is my 1st time buying a shell and I found it way thinner than I though it'd be. I haven't tested it out by itself for warmth but it doesn't look very dependable. Warning to those who buy this jacket, it's a pretty tight fit so if your not comfortable wearing a fitted look, definitely buy 1 size larger. I do love this jacket though because it looks amazing and it's a good fit. January 14, 2013

Great but dwr stinks Overall I like the jacket. I have only had it out two times. The first was a very cold day ending up in a foot of snow with a crust in steep terrain. There was a lot of elevation gain and the jacket seemed to handle the sweating pretty well. The pit zips were much easier to open and close on most other shells I have had. The hood lighteners were a little difficult to use but after I figured them out, they are fine. I love the long side sippers which allow me to stash a small bottle or other item. The second trip was on a cloudy and misty day. I did a 1,700 foot trail for exercise with a day pack. I left the shell off on the way up and the Silver Ridge shirt was a bit wet at the top. I put the shell on for the decent and the shirt dried on the way down indicating that the breathability was good. The down side which for me is a very big issue was that the dwr seemed to be unevenly applied. Most areas beaded up for the entire time but substantial spots turned dark all over the jacket especially on the right arm and skirt of the jacket. Because this was only the second use of the jacket, I was very surprised. Most shells I have owned have not started to do this until after a few months of use. I would have rated the shell higher but to me this is a very big issue as I am out in wet condition a lot. December 8, 2012
