This jacket designed for REAL outdoor use. This jacket is designed with REAL outdoor people in mind. The Omni-Heat liner and the rain repellent outer shell is perfect for all climates in winter. Here in the Northwest we get both the heavy rain and the bitter cold. Designed with this in mind , Columbia has hit a home run in this jacket. My buddies have also bought this jacket. Great hunting jacket! This is the best hunting jacket I have ever owned. The Omni-Heat keeps you toasty warm for those long days in the stand. After it hits the high 30's I put the hood up and it really keeps the heat in. The jacket is very quiet, lightweight (in a pounds and ounces sense, not warmth) and has tons of storage. It is also the perfect amount of bulk - enough to keep you warm and insulated without looking look the marshmallow man. The large fit true to size. It is a good luck charm too. It arrived in the mail just before dark one evening, so I hit it with some Scent-Away and waited until the next morning. I wore it to the woods at dawn and shortly after took a nice buck.
