Great Jacket! At 6'4" and 310 pounds, I have a rather cynical attitude about finding good quality clothing that fits. Columbia has turned me into a VERY satisfied customer with this jacket. It fits! Tight Sleeves Love the look and quality of the jacket, although the lining was a little flashy. The sleeves were quite tight. Okay with short sleeves, but long sleeve shirts tend to pull-up when putting the jacket on. Nothing bulky like a sweatshirt or sweater would fit. My arms are not large by any means and other Columbia jackets I have fit fine. March 6, 2013
True Fit for tall sizes After searching for several months for tall sized apparel I found this Parka system that is true to fit. I'm 6' 9" tall and finding quality outdoors ski and board wear is a task and very expensive. But I believe you get what you pay for. This Parka system is worth the investment. March 2, 2013
Nice warm jacket! This is a nice warm jacket that is not overly heavy or bulky.The 'baked potato' lining is very warm and the sleeves are nice and fitted.One complaint is that the coat could be a little longer without getting wider. February 26, 2013
Amazingly warm Bought this coat for my husband who is very active in the snow and cold days in new england and he loves it! It is very well put together, runs slightly small so we bought a size up; thin and comfortable and extremely warm. Even when playing in the snow for hours he stayed warm and dry - excellent product. Great for big guys I am 6' 235#, I seem to always have an issue finding sleeves that are long enough and don't bind up. This jacket has great sleeve length as well as good overall coat length. No cold drafts up the back. Good range of motion. I like the design, fit and finish. I am a jacket guy and this is a good jacket. February 18, 2013

Not everyone is an athlete After 3 returns, I finally found a size in this coat that fits me comfortably. Admittedly, I am a large person. It appears Columbia is moving toward a cut of coat that's more slim and form fitting, which doesn't allow for the layering of clothing that we in the northern states must do in the winter. I still own a men's 2X Tall Columbia jacket that's roughly 10 years old and fits great, there's even extra room in it for another 1/2 of me. But I had to get a 4X Tall for this new jacket and it's still tight across the shoulders. Columbia, not everyone is an athlete and if you continue to tailor your coats to only an athletic buyer you are eliminating a fair portion of customers who will look elsewhere for more affordable, comfortable coats. Great coat I purchased the XLT. I'm 6'5" with long arms (38 in dress shirt). The coat is a good length for me in the sleeves and is warm and appears well-made.The only reason I would not give a 5* is that the body of the coat at the waste is larger than I would prefer (almost always a problem for me as I am tall for my weight), but this is not a big deal with the cords to tighten it up a bit at the bottom. I would also like the coat a bit more if it were not quite as long in the body--but that part is a matter of style. Overall though, very good coat and I am happy I found it. January 29, 2013
This is a warm coat for big guys Most or all of the reviews do list the customers' exact dimensions. I'm 6'7" tall, about 300 pounds, and I used to play Division I football. My suit coat measurement is 50 extra long with 38/39 sleeve length. I have a 40 inch waiste. I ordered the 3X tall and the jacket fits perfect with enough room to wear a heavy sweater and long johns for skiing. I like the fact that it's not too bulky. Also, it's very warm indoors, but just right on cold windy days. I had a chance to wear it in minus 10 to plus 10 degree weather last week in South Dakota and it felt great. I look forward to wearing it skiing at Beaver Creek in March. January 27, 2013
Best tall men's jacket ever! My husband is tall (6'4") and slender with a good build and long arms (38") and the jacket (s) fit perfectly. We ordered the black, which had a beautiful deep greenish blue color contrast so it was more subtle that the other colors... which he wanted.The two jackets in one will suit any need for cool to cold wet weather.The quality is outstanding so it will last forever, as will the style. Very nice jacket I ordered the LT size online without having the opportunity to first try the jacket on for fit. I found the fit to be true to size, except the sleeve length was maybe half an inch longer than what I would consider perfect length for me. The interchange feature makes this a very versatile jacket and I expect it will get a lot of use over the coming years. January 16, 2013
Great Jacket Purchased for my husband as a Christmas Gift. We were both extremely happy with this jacket. I purchased an XLT and the sleeve length and coat length are perfect. Jacket is very warm against the windy, cold air. Also, NOT bulky which is very nice. We have not had much precipitation to test out waterproof aspect. January 2, 2013
Excellent for Large Guys! So happy with this coat!I was alittle nervous because most jackets I have bought have been tight on my frame but this fit perfectly.I got the 3XLT and for my 6ft 4in frame, the length was perfect and no tightness in any of the chest areaSuper warm too!
