Omni-Tech® products provide premium waterproof and breathable protection by keeping outside elements from getting in, while still allowing moisture vapors to move away from the skin.

The thermal reflective lining amplifies the heat-keeping powers of the Omni-Heat insulation to keep you comfortable whether you’re headed into the arctic conditions of the Canadian winter, onto the summit lift in the middle of a rippin’ storm or just out your front door to shovel snow. Waterproof-breathable and fully seam-sealed, it locks out the weather while allowing body moisture to escape. Traditional 4-pocket styling with a slightly longer length gives it a classic look and the chunky Ikat shell fabric is heathered for a unique textured appearance. The snap back powder skirt, pant connect tab, ample inside pockets for media and goggles and underarm venting make it ultra mountain-friendly. Faux fur is removable for washing.

Like The only thing incorrect is not having a double zipper > All Columbia jackets should come with a zipper that can be opened from the bottm when fully zipped up. The web site did not explain it had a single zipper or a removeable zippered hood. (zippered hood is good) January 17, 2012

Midwest athlete This jacket is great. I am living in Minnesota right now and wanted to get a jacket to keep me warm while walking the streets of New York City when I move out there. Brilliant I take my winter outwear seriously. I live in NJ and commute daily to NYC on the ferry. This means long lines queueing up in all weather weather conditions year round to get to work. And standing on various NYC street corners waiting for buses to arrive to take me to the ferry terminal to get home. So, I am outside on a boat almost every day of the year in every imaginable weather condition.I am pretty much an Internet only shopper. I did my research and ordered half-a-dozen jackets in the Yukon Tracker category from brands like North Face, Patagonia, LL Bean and Eddie Bauer. There is absolutely no better engineered and constructed jacket for the money than the Yukon Tracker.The engineering that went into this garment is beyond reproach. It is lightweight and warm. The finish of the coat is premium it is something you would expect to see from a luxury brand - but without being ostentatious of flashy. The Omni-Heat technology does what it claims to do - you are warm and toasty but never sweating or overly hot. The hood and fur are stylish but keep you warm and dry. The pockets are easily accessible and plentiful. The digital device pocket on the interior (iPod, mobile phone, MP3 player, etc) is functional and provides an exit loop for headphones so they to not get tangled or hang outside the jacket (if you do not use Bluetooth). The sleeve ends are fitted with a lycra like material that hug your wrists so there will be little leakage or warmth or snow/rain entering via the cuffs of the jacket. The length and powder skirt and perfect for locking in the warmth in even the worst Nor'easter.I am 6'0" and wear a size 36" waist. I have broad shoulders. The Large size is the perfect fit I can easily wear layers including a sweater, sweatshirt or sports jacket under the coat and be comfortable.In short this jacket provides, style, warmth, function and value without being bulky or breaking the bank. This jacket will last for years. I couldn't be happier. I cannot recommend the Yukon Tracker enough. It's a completely brilliant product. December 4, 2011

How to measure

Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
