Cold weather gear I bought this top along with the bottoms for wearing in the Sierra Mountains. I work in the Lake Tahoe area in some very cold conditions. Although I haven't needed them yet this year I do have Omni jackets, parka and gloves. These products have keep me both dry and warm. I feel the baselayer will do the same and last many years. Columbia in Afghanistan I combined this baselayer with my Columbia Antecendent jacket while in Afghanistan during the coldest time of year. This year was unusually cold. This is a great baselayer for serious use combined with other Columbia products in harsh environments or for just lounging around when you get indoors. March 24, 2012
fits perfectly I'm a pretty skinny guy with extra arm and i thought the medium of this baselayer fit amazingly. hugs the body without squeezing me apart like i've noticed with under armor stuff. i was a little skeptical of the "omniheat" technology but i've put this shirt on a couple times now when it's pretty chilly out and you can feel the shirt warming up almost instantly. i love it! Warmest Baselayer Shirt This is by far the warmest baselayer shirt I have had the pleasure of owning. I have a LOT of baselayer shirts and this is the best one. In terms of fit I say it runs slightly large in that it is a tad loose compared to other kinds but not to the point of it not being able to function. Its mainly around the rib cage. That being said the part I love most, other than the warmth, are the thumb holes on the sleeves. Other shirts I have with that feature aren't as sleek as this. I say all that to say this; if you need a baselayer to keep you warm, there is no better option. January 30, 2012

Best Baselayer I've had I purchased the Men's Baselayers with OmniHeat technology because I needed a bit larger size than available in women's. I love these! I've had several opportunities to try them out when the temperatures dip and not only do they keep me warm, I don't overheat. Not to mention how incredibly soft they are, comfortable to wear. extremly to small I ordered a xxl and it was way to small. The fit in the shoulder and upper chest was good but the taper down to the was and hips was extreme and was very tight. January 13, 2012
excellent addition I had bought a omni-heat jacket last year and was amazed at the light weight and warmth it provided,and then this comes along and takes the game up too a whole different level.The light weight and comfort that this product provides is second to none.I have been a customer for several years and just when you think,how can they possibly top that,they do.This is an excellent addition to your outdoor adventures. Good baselayer Runs a little cool, but the overall thermal regulation is better than the other base-layers I've tried. The fabric breathes well which is why it seems to run a little cool, but overall I stayed very comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. The thumb-hole sleeves are nice for a little extra warmth around the wrist/hand area. Was a little small, but because the fabric stretches well, it was not uncomfortable. December 13, 2011

Very Impressed Just used this shirt forthe first time on a 3 day winter mountaineering trip in CO. Temps ranging from 25F to sub zero. Never took the top off and stayed comfortable and dry the entire time. I was surprised at how balanced I felt, and the lack of sweating reduced the stink factor nomally experienced with synthetic base layers. November 14, 2011
Baselayer Omni-heat Bought and used hunting in 20 degree weather. I really like the way they feel, the fit,and the construction. Being honest, I am not sure if the omni-heat makes a difference while sitting for long periods. I love them as a baselayer but will wear merinos overtop to give me that added warmth while sitting long periods. They are a great addition to my hunting apparel. November 8, 2011

Amazing New Baselayer Columbia baselayer, where have you been all my life? This is the best baselayer i've owned. The fit is body hugging, so if you want loose, buy a size up.
