Great Base Layer This base layer kept me warm when the temperatures got down to the 30's. It is nice and snug as it should be. I've washed mine a couple time and hang it up to dry and I haven't had any problems. I wore this base layer set in my sleeping bag and got really warm. Great product. March 26, 2013
Warmer than expected Great midweight baselayer. Warmer than I expected. March 6, 2013
Best there is. Fished in tournament this weekend and it was 27 degrees starting out with a high of 40 and strong north winds. I never got cold. February 18, 2013
This product has great features Great, warm, and worth the price! February 6, 2013
Body fit runs very small Ordered an XL, body is very tight February 3, 2013
Runs small I am a plus size woman and since Columbia does not provide much for me I had to order a mens product. I miss having color selections and the sleeves are way too long for a woman. I would have been extremely satisfied had I been able to get a woman's fit January 30, 2013
This is a quality product but the sizing needs improvement. I normally wear a large with no issues. I ordered a large and the fit was very tight around the arms and shoulders while the sleeves were probably 2-3 inches too long. The garment itself is well made so my advice is to try it on before you purchase. January 29, 2013
Great Baselayer Keeeps me warm enough with several layers and a large down parka when its below zero (F) . Sleeves are a little long, but give protection between the jacket and gloves.Tight fit, but more form fitting than "compression" fit. Don't even notice I'm wearing it. Have it in blue and in black, as well as the pants. Can't recommend enough. Omni-heat is fabulous. January 23, 2013
Love it Just in time for this cold weather January 21, 2013
Keeps me warm Omni-Heat base layer kept me warm when playing golf in low 30 degree weather. works well with several layers January 7, 2013
Men's baselayer midweight top Love this piece. It runs a little narrow and long, but is warm and breathable. Time will tell if it wears and washes well. December 31, 2012
As never before Enough to be out working, playing or walking, It is one of the best baselayers on the market , its will keep you so warm, is wanderfull, Afeter try the first baselayer I been Order 3 more to pass the Winter at Waterdown, Hamilton, Canada.Congratulation to Columbia for this. Technology, and qualityFernando December 28, 2012
Not quite on the mark I would recommend but with a disclaimer. The medium was to small and to tight in the arm pit with sleeves a bit to long. I had to order an Large which fits better even over my undershirt and is still snug in the arm pit and the sleeves are 4 to 5 inches to long. I am more comfortable temperature wise but for the money the garment could fit better. December 4, 2012
finally warm, and not bulky I think the omni heat feature is fantastic! It is light weight, not bulky and comfortable. In a suitcase it takes up very little room . I have been out in the wind and cold and do not get cold while wareing it. Looks great under a military uniform or as a shirt when off duty. December 1, 2012
sleeves too long Sleeves too long, reached pass my fingertips. However, body was true to size. Noticed a tear near a seam and had to return item. November 27, 2012
Great base layer for cycling This base layer provides warmth without bulk. It fits nicely under a snug fitting winter jersey. November 26, 2012
Wrong product for me. Bought a $40 shirt, 6$ to ship, $15 to return because it did not fit. Not a way that I will be doing business in the future. November 19, 2012
Great underlayer for winter golf This one thin layer will keep you warn with another T-shirt on top of it.I also have a pair of baselayer tight I brought last year, very happy with those too.I will get another top when I get new offers. November 18, 2012
Great item I ordered this for my husband who works outside. He likes the med. weight and warmth. November 15, 2012
This product has great features The baselayer worked great, and required fewer outer layers to keep warm. June 2, 2012
Ridiculously long sleeves This would be an excellent and very warm baselayer shirt if the sleeves weren't ridiculously long. They extend down to the end of my thumb. If you've got arms like an orangutang, then this shirt will work. If not, look elsewhere. May 31, 2012
Will get another one Bought one for my husband. Very warm and soft. I'm getting one for myself. May 1, 2012
Warm thin baselayer, but may need to size up Performs as expected in 10 degree weather but runs small and bunches up on me. I normally take Large in tops like this but if you are not slender, suggest you size up, then you will not regret this purchase at all!I use this top walking outdoors or driving with window open at night. I deliver newspapers! January 30, 2012
Great Baselayer! I have used this product along with the matching pants a few times this winter in Northern Wisconsin for snowmobiling and I could not be happier with them! I have been able to shed an entire layer since I started wearing this, it is light, extremely warm and comfortable. Great product, can't wait to use it for fishing! January 19, 2012
Men's Baselayer Midweight Long Sleeve Top I purchased this clothing item to replace my cotton thermal shirt, and to tolerate the sub-zero Chicagoland winters. The only thing I can say is "perfection". January 19, 2012
Base Layer Excellent for the cold Alaska weather. December 30, 2011
So far, so good! I bought this for my husband's birthday. He works outside all day, on top of roofs and ladders. This works well since it doens't restrict his movement at all. He said he could really feel his arms being warmed. December 20, 2011
Great Product I used this for hiking and sailing as a baselayer. Fits greats and will keep you warm. Note its a midweight. Therefore you may need a little extra to keep you warm depending on how well you deel with the cold. December 7, 2011
Warm and Tight Bought this for the deer stand and for skiing in Tahoe...very warm and comfortable! The midweight is plenty for someone hot-natured like myself! December 1, 2011
like mithril first cold weather base layer purchased. this thing is pretty awesome. It'll keep you at a great, comfy temperature if it's a bit breezy or cool outside. This effect is greatly reduced if exposed to wind (i.e. layering with short sleeves), but this can be used to your advantage based on the outside temp and how much moving you'll be doing. Also doesn't stink up very much at all. The shiny omni-heat dots are pretty nifty too. November 23, 2011
I love it , Warm, lightweight layer As a runner, I bought this for running in cooler weather and for layering when it gets downright cold. I thought the omni-heat dots might be a gimmick but was surprised at how warm I stayed while running on a morning in the low 30s. It was plenty breathable and surprisingly comfortable. Definitely a new favorite. November 23, 2011
Warm Warm Warm!! When I first saw that Columbia was introducing a new base layer I was hoping it would be something that fits close to the body. Sure enough it was exactly that along with the Omni Heat! I wore this to a very cold football game and was warm all quarters! Bravo Columbia! November 23, 2011
Kept me warm I wore the shirt when I had to work outside on a very cold day. I started when it was 18 degrees outside and it warmed up to a cool 40 degrees. The shirt kept me warm with minimal layering so my clothes weren't too bulky to be working in. I was worried the inside of the shirt would be scratchy against my skin but it was soft. Wish it was a turtleneck because I will only wear it when it is cold outside. Negative: When I took my jacket off and I cooled down too much, my body had to warm the shirt up first then it kept me warm. I have hiking boots with the same technology and if I stop my activity for too long and my feet get cold then they don't warm back up until after I am moving for awhile and sometimes it takes too long to warm my feet back up. Shirt seemed to have the same issue. It is perfect as long as my body stays warm. If I get cold then I have to be active for the shirt to work. November 13, 2011
Like a second skin I thought the silver dots against my skin would be a little irritating, but you don't even feel them. What I like about these is that they are thin yet still keep you nice and warm. Only drawback is they fit a little too tight around my forearms. Would recommend and will buy more. November 9, 2011
Stay Warm This product has a great range of motion. I have been wearing it for 13 hour and it is still comfortable and warm. November 5, 2011
Good baselayer Omni-heat technology keeps you warm, without being bulky. It's awesome! November 4, 2011
Perfect Fit This shirt runs a little tight...but for me that's what it's supposed to do, it was snug, I wore it out as a test run while taking the munchkins trick or treating, I found that once I started moving the cold I was feeling disappeared and in fact was warm with the extra layer I had put on.I may need to pruchase the jacket verson next.I can't wait to test it out on the ski slopes to keem me warm and dry. November 1, 2011
Great Shirt My wife bought this shirt for my birthday. Works great as an under layer, or alone, while running. Those Michigan winters can great pretty cold, but this shirt works great. Only thing I can find wrong is the sleeves are a little snug for my comfort. October 27, 2011
Surpassed expectations I liked this midweight top from the beginning but I was waiting for the temperature to drop below 40 to try it outdoors and see how well it performed. I live in Minnesota and I like the outdoors, but I don't like to wear many layers or cloth or heavyweight gear. This midweight top and a light sweater is all you'll need to enjoy the outdoors comfortably at any temperature below 60 and above 30. Below this range and down to 0 (depending on your tolerance to cold) a scarf and some gloves would still be enough to keep you warm and comfortable. So far this fall I've wore it with nothing more than a light sweater at tailgates, football matches, excursions into the woods and outdoor fairs at night and it has been up to the task every time. This fall I've never actually had to wear a jacket while wearing this top. October 23, 2011
Mens Baselayer long sleve top well it was free, and that is always good. My grand son wears them everyday in the summer he wears the short sleeve ones and in winter he wears the long sleeve ones. He says it helps with the moisture. October 22, 2011
Wow... This thing works like they say it will. End of story. Buy one! October 16, 2011
Men' Baselayer Review I wore this shirt out on a cold morning the weekend after I got it, and loved it. This kept me warm and dry! October 12, 2011
Base Layer Great foundation for layering. Will be my go-to base layer when I'm looking at ski slopes with a great base. October 11, 2011
aselayer Loved it, perfect weight! October 9, 2011
Great way to start your cold weather lineup I just recently received my shirt and tried it on. I fell in love with it instantly. I cant wait for the weather to get cooler so I can add this to my regular clothing line up. October 5, 2011
Nice Baselayer. Just received this baselayer shirt. The fabric is comfortable and moves well with the body. It seems to have more of an athletic fit versus a roomy/baggy fit. The arm length is great. I often have to buy a size larger simply for arm length and this time I did not. I am looking forward to the temperatures dropping so I can get outside in this item. October 5, 2011
Nice shirt I could tell right away when I put this on that it was going to be a warm one. It fits well and looks good. The magic silver heating stuff inside feels a little rubbery, but I got used to it. October 4, 2011
Works as it Should I like it as a base layer, the arms being so high in the arm pit was a little different and felt odd at first but I did get used to it. Except for some initial itching on my arms I felt no major itching from the Omni-Heat. This is my first garment with the tech so I believe that the itching was caused by the transition from the short sleeve to long sleeve season. I loved how long the arms are on this, allot of times you get base layer shirts that have the arm length about 4 inches to short, this one was great. This will be part of my usual base layer setup. October 4, 2011
Great product! Amazing shirt. This item keeps me extremely warm when moving up to higher elevations. Light weight. I use this as an under layer when going to around 10K feet and it's perfect for what I do. October 4, 2011
really small I did not get a chance to "field test" the shirt because it is at least 2 sizes too small for me. I have several Columbia shirts all in XL that fit great. I ordered a XXL becuase the description indicated body contour. Be aware. October 3, 2011
