Men's Baselayer Midweight Tight 4.3 5 10 10
Keeps me warm! These are great under layers, I have stayed warm with them every time. As normal, Columbia is great and functions perfectly as it should. These don't cut down the wind, but they work great to warm with a nice layer on top. April 14, 2013
Perfect Fabulous product. Better than any base layer I have. Outperforms my Craft or Lifa products. Lightweight and not bulky. Once you start to expend energy you can feel the armth being generated. As a cross country ski racer it is perfect under a race suit or lightweight training jacket. March 6, 2013
Best there is. I fished in a tournament this weekend and it was 27 degrees starting out with a high of only 40 with strong north winds and I never got cold. February 18, 2013
Upgrade from long johns I was hesitant to wear these because they made me look like as my wife put it "the Green Lantern”. But all joking aside they are a top notch piece of winter equipment....and will be a welcomed addition to any outdoor activity. They block the wind out fairly well and manage to keep you rather toasty. January 15, 2013
Passed the test I do not usually write reviews for products but this product has impressed me. I ran a Tough Mudder race in the pants and top, Omni Heat base layer. The run took place in low 50 degree weather. Cloudy windy with no sun. This run consisted of about 22 obstacles. The majority of obstacles had the participant submerged in water. This was head to toe wet, and wet is putting it lightly it was more like soaked. Both top and bottom did a good job of keeping me fairly dry and warm while out of the water obstacles. It is important to note that I was still "moist" but retaining heat. I also had to do a lot of crawling for the event and the material appears to have held up. I am in the process of letting them soak before washing them as I do this review.A buddy of mine did do the run with me and purchased the product. His pants did tear in the knee but considering what we had put the gear through I was not surprise.I recommend this product for anyone who is an out doors type, I pushed the limit of this product and it held up.Let me point out I was chilled by the end of the run, the course I did was in Kentucky and was 12 miles. I started feeling chill around mile 9 but it was nothing unbearable. It took us 4hrs and 50 minutes to complete which gives you some idea of how long I was wet. The product was well worth the money, especially seeing the conditions of some of the participants who chose to do it without any long layers. October 21, 2012
not met expectations Hello from Russia!I tested it (+jeans without padding) outdoor at temperature 0°C (32.0 °F), humidity 99%, without wind, with low activity (walking), half-hour. I'm cold.Maybe I made the wrong choice of model. Or maybe not))//translated by google translate October 5, 2012
Great during cold and windy ski days at Batchelor My husband and I just tried out our new omni-heat base layers. My husband has always worn just cotton pants and was not used to tight things around his body. Both of us were very happy with this product. We did not sweat or get cold during a 3 hard days of skiing and snowboarding. The wind howled, the snow kicked up it's twisty turny funnels, we were just right. I highly recommend these products. Winter hike/camp out 12-2011 Temps ranged in 20 to 45 deg. - I found when active it provide excellent warmth - when in camp and not active it required a another baselayer... I will be testing next week on a hut trip at 11,500 feet - well be using as my only base layer for the 5 mile snowhow in. So far I would recommend it. It has been washed 2 times and no wear from washing. Report more later December 28, 2011
Thin and lightweight with the warmth of a heavyweight tight The review title says it all. I use these tights for a variety of things - as long undewear on really cold days on the boat, as leg warmers under my shorts when running or cycling, whatever. They are thin and comfortable, and initially did not think they would be warm enough but those little metallic dots really do work. These tights are as warm as some heavier ones I own made by another well known company. December 10, 2011
Baselayer tights I think the product should state that there is NO fly. As a men's tight, this makes NO sense to me, so I returned it. October 5, 2011
