Great Summer Active Sort Got these to wear at the race circuit on the weekends, fit was perfect, liked the adjustable waist tabs. Hard wearing, lots of pockets for items - stayed cool when temps got warm. Worn them once will be interested to see how they wear over time...great short just a little expensive but worth it. Awesome shorts! These are some of the best shorts I have found. They are durable, fit well, look great and get tons of compliments around the dock and at fishing shows. The only bad is 3 colors. Bring us some more colors including kaki;-) September 12, 2012

Great outdoors pant for more than just fishing These are great. Extremely rugged, but much lighter than cotton pants. Breathe well and very comfortable. Tons of pockets too. Been wearing them for a solid week since I got them! June 9, 2012
Not just for fishing What I want in a pair of shorts is good length (I'm very tall), good anti-wrinkle performance, and cargo pockets that don't look like cargo pockets, so I don't have to sit on my wallet and the shorts don't look out of place on a golf course. These qualify except for the big "Performance Fishing Gear" patches that are there for who knows what reason. Fortunately the patches are fairly easy to remove. I haven't had the shorts long enough to know whether the black stays black through multiple washings, but my initial impression is that these are great shorts.I found that I needed to order one size smaller than my usual. The ones in my usual size could be made to fit in the waist with the velcro pull tabs, but that doesn't look as good as having them fit right in the first place.The fabric is great; it's 100% nylon but doesn't have the shiny look or plastic feel of other nylon shorts I've had.Finally, as is the case with many Columbia products, more color choices would be good (but not "Mud", "Tank", "Slime Mold", or the like; regular clothing colors). Big Performance Purchased for casual and fishing wear, thought they would be just shorts. No way! Not the Big Katuna's. They have a very comfortable and relaxed fit. The pockets accomodate pliers, cell phone, and many other various items. One of the pockets even has a sunglass cleaning cloth, cool. May 15, 2012

Awesome shorts These shorts are awesome because they are outdoors, quick drying shorts that don't make you look like a nerd. Most outdoor hiking type shorts are too tight and too short and you like you're a nerd or from the 70s. These shorts, however, fit like a board short and are stylish (at least to somebody like me who wears their casual clothing a little baggier and more relaxed). Awesome Shorts! I just got these and I will be ordering more! I love the velcro adjusting straps on the side! The attached sunglass wipe in the pocket is great being on saltwater all day and wearing the columbia shirts it will not clean your glasses now no problem. I hope you come out with a couple more colors being in Florida I can't wear black so I only have 2 colors to choose from. They are also very comfy too! Great job on these!! March 6, 2012
