Men's Bonehead™ Short 4.6 5 25 25
Not as rugged as expected I purchased these shorts to replace a pair worn to threads by many years of Chesapeake Bay sail boat racing. They appeared to be the same in the description but the fabric is not nearly as tough. They are more for casual wear in spite of the appearance of utility (many cargo pockets and loops). They are well made and will be worn for years as casual shorts but fell far short of being utilized in the intended purpose. June 1, 2012

Great Short I read the many great reviews so I purchased a couple of pairs. One helpful review wrote that these shorts are actually short. Not way too creepy short but not hanging past my knees. Young guns may want to take this into account. I wish the main front pocket was deeper but the other pockets with Velcro securely hold my items. August 20, 2011
Absolutely the Best Shorts I can say nothing bad about these shorts. They fit right and are well-made. I don't fish, but I do not believe that should disqualify anyone from buying them. I now own almost every color that Columbia makes in the Bonehead short. August 19, 2011

Great shorts for fishing or dockside Light, cool, flattering fit with lots of pockets in the right places. I particularly like that these are cut short in the inseam, I like shorts that are actually short! They are more than I expected and I will be purchasing more of them. These are my new go-to shorts. Excellent Warm-weather Shorts Fits true-to-size. Very comfortable. Dries pretty quickly when they get wet. Only bone (ha!) to pick is that I was a bit surprised to see that they are much brighter, color wise, in real life than here on the webpage. I ordered the sail (blue) and the conch (pink) and I thought they were going to be pastel in shade, as per the website. This is NOT the case. They are noticeably darker/brighter in shade/color. They'd have to be washed quite a few times and be exposed to quite a bit of the sun's UV in order to lighten them up to what's depicted online. To Columbia's defense, I've had this issue with other merchants' websites (re: inaccurate color representation) too, so this isn't a Columbia-only gripe. July 1, 2011

Short shorts Loved the shorts, very comfortable. Problem is, my wife and kids think that because they are TOO short I look stupid in them.
