This product has evolved. This is my second Fast Trek II Full zip fleece and it has some improvements. This version fits a little large (the older one I have fit very snug). I ordered the same size I had in the older version and to my surprise the quality of the fleece seems thicker. The interchange tabs are a cord rather than the old "ribbons," and the pockets seem to be more durable (I carried something in the pocket of the old version and it has a robust hole in it). I am so impressed with the new version that I will have to upgrade the older product with a replacement. April 25, 2013

More than I expected at that price! I needed a lightweight (200 wt) fleece, full zip jacket for those Chilly Oregon spring evenings and mornings and this guy fits the bill perfectly. Extremely breathable for when the temperature starts to rise but you don't want to take it off because it is so soft and comfy! I went with the Metal/Burnt orange colorway and I love it, just enough orange to keep it interesting. Poorly sized This is the first Columbia product I've ever bought that has disappointed me. Its arms are both way too skinny and way too long. When, using a table, I laid an arm of this jacket over the arm of a similar fleece jacket made by a well-known competitor, I found it was a full 2 inches skinnier and 3 inches longer. It's so skinny that I can't comfortably pull it on over a long-sleeved shirt, and it also nearly covers my hands. I note, too, that its wrists, while somewhat narrowed, lack an elastic band inside, again unlike the rival brand mentioned. Unfortunately, I stupidly snipped the tags off of the jacket before trying it on--and then read that I could only return it if all tags were intact. So now I have a garment that is brand new and totally useless to me. For the record, I'm 5'-10", weigh 197, have an athlete's build, and wear dress shirts with a 33" sleeve. March 20, 2013

Men's Fast Trek™ II Full Zip Fleece This is an excellent fleece with many functional features that make it the perfect mid-layer for those colder months.I use this fleece with a t-shirt when undergoing extremely taxing physical events without any complaints. Throwing on a light waterproof shell makes for a perfectly layered system when light physical activity is on the menu. I can't say enough good things about this fleece. It has kept me warm despite the worst weather a Virginia winter can throw at me. Also, the chest pocket is a great feature for holding random nick-knacks like a phone or keys. All in all, solid construction and a great price make this fleece a worthwhile purchase for anyone interested in an exceptional value. March 2, 2013

Nice jacket I recently purchased the Fast Trek II Full-Zip Fleece jacket, and I am very pleased with it. I haven't yet had the opportunity to wear it in very active situations, but so far it seems great. It is a mid-weight fleece, which is perfect for someone who (like me) generates a lot of heat while exercising. I like the full-length zipper, which allows me to regulate the amount of insulation I need under varying conditions. The fit is good, and the sleeves are long enough for someone with longer than average arms. A good buy. February 16, 2013
Great lightweight fleece This is a great light duty fleece for cool days or as middle layer. I'm 72" tall, 175 lbs, and I usually wear size large Columbia jackets and heavy fleece; however, this medium fits me well if I'm just wearing a shirt underneath, especially if I'm wearing another layer on top. Sleeves are the perfect lenght, and the jacket has the right amount of room. Another winner from Columbia. February 9, 2013
Great Jacket for the Georgia Winters I am an outdoorsman and this jacket does the trick. It has to be a cold day (25 or below) before the wind really starts to penetrate this jacket. I am very warm natured and it breaths really well so I dont sweat as quick as I do in other jackets. Overall I am very pleased with it February 3, 2013
defective I ordered this as a replacement for the fleece liner that I lost for my winter coat. Not only does the zipper not fit, but there was a hole in the pocket. Returns also do not seem to be very easy to initiate, and I will probably have to pay the return shipping out of my own pocket. January 18, 2013
Love this fleece jacket! My son & wife bought me one for Hanukah in 2011 and also one for my son too. He rarley takes his off as he wears it all the time. I wear mine less but also love it.With a long sleeve shirt underneath it's perfect or by itself if really cold outside, it makes a great base layer. With the omni heat it is surprisingly warm and very comfortable.I do wish the arm pocket on ours was on the chest which would make it more sueful. January 16, 2013

Best Jacket I have I have gotten to test mine out for this whole week. Looks great and is very comfortable. The fleece is unlike any others and I was surprised about a few things. For example I spilled water on the jacket and instead of soaking in right away it just rolled off. Although if the water sits on the jacket for an extended period of time it will soak in but you really wont notice it on the inside of the jacket. Fits perfectly Bought this on impulse for my first winter in Canada. I had absolutely no warm clothing, and this has lasted me into December (with additional base-layers for the colder months of Nov-Dec).Not knowing much about fleeces when I first bought this, I expected the outer material to quickly roughen and deteriorate. The outer material has stayed very smooth, and although I frequently abuse this fleece outdoors, It doesn't pick up stains and still looks very presentable for more professional scenarios (I don't look like I live in a tent while wearing this).This fleece has been worn through snow and heavy rain, always retaining it's waterproof qualities and keeping me warm. Although it's not tight fitting, I feel completely unconstrained wearing it, probably due to it's light weight.A bad zipper design can chafe the neck, but this one is EXCELLENT! Can't feel it on my neck, and I've never once snagged the zipper or had trouble attaching the two together, even with gloves on.The collar is lovely and really does keep my neck very warm, so I'm retiring any notion I had of needing a scarf.Would absolutely recommend this to a friend. I have full trust in Columbia products, and I'm glad to say that this one has not disappointed. November 9, 2012
Working In Afghanistan Working in Afghanistan this time of year can be a little tricky. The mornings are very cool and mid day can be quite warm and cool again in the evenings. This fleece is the perfect match for these weather conditions. Keeps me plenty warm in the 40 degree mornings and is not too much if it hits the 60s. This fleece is not too bulky either, it will make a great base layer for the coming winter months. October 24, 2012
Good in cool weather Nice fleece, and I like the side breast pocket (a little small, but workable). Cool in warm weather and warm in cool weather, nicely resistant to light mist so far. The sleeves are a bit tight, sticking to long sleeve shirts. I suspect that the fleece is a bit grabby on tighter fitting arms. Overall, very nice. October 14, 2012

Active Wear Staple Some time ago I aquired this jacket in the lost and found, I liked it so much I decided to buy a new one via the Colombia website. The price is certainly right for this jacket. It's a light weight breathable staple to my daily morning runs in Tacoma Washington. There is a slight color shift although I suspect that's a challenge for any website. The jacket washes well and is useful for casual evenings. July 22, 2012
This is an interchange fleece I was certain that it would work as a liner for the Titanium jacket that I purchased, but the zippers do NOT match. It is still a nice light weight fleece. The medium is a little tight in the arms for 6 foot 175 lbs. July 15, 2012

Great comfort and fit I bought two of these for my son because he was wearing the fleece liner to his colmubia jacket 6-7 days a week. the jackets looks so much better than a sweatshirt, even thought they are every bit as comfortable, maybe more so becasue you can zipper it all the way down the front. The fit was perfect for his athletic build. The material was a little different than the liner of the coat, but still a hit. They went throught the washer and dryer and looked great afterwards. Fast Trek II Fleece full zip This is a light weight fleece, which I wanted. I think the quality of the material is not the best. I have an older Columbia fleecy which has a tighter weave fabric which holds its shape much better and gives a much dressier appearance. Also, I found the collar to be clumsy with poor structure and shape. What I do like are the 3 zippered pockets, and the good central zipper. The upper pocket could be slightly larger since I had to resort to a smaller glass case. January 26, 2012
Smart, Comfortable and Warm I purchased the Fast Trek II to wear around the house in the winter, in moderate temperatures and as an under layer for when it really gets cold. It performs all of these tasks well and has attracted more than a few compliments for how great it looks. Not quite what I was expecting The color was a little greener than I was expecting. I wanted more of a steely grey. My husband had tried on a different fleece in a medium and it was tight so I ordered a large. The large was a little too boxy. The quality and design of the jacket were nice. The product just wasn't quite what I thought it was going to be. I exchanged the jacket at an outlet store and received great customer service and found something else he would like. January 12, 2012
Warm and adjustable, needs better zipper The title says it all. This would be a great jacket if the zipper didn't pull apart so easily at the bottom. I got one of these for Christmas, and I gave one for Christmas. Just talking about the one I got. Don't have this problem with a very similar jacket that's now a couple years old. January 12, 2012

Outstanding Jackt Purchased this on my trip to Philmont to replace my Steens Mountain in my pack. Lightweight, fits perfectly, warm,and rather windproof. I am thouroughly impresses, I purchased the brown and I can wear it to more formal events which is more than I can say about the Steens Mountain (dont get me wrong it is a great jacket just not at par with this one). How to measure
- Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
- Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
- Waist: Measure around natural waistline, allowing tape measure to sit comfortably.
- Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
- Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.
