Excellent shoe!! I just bought a pair of Kaibab (men's because the Ladies is too narrow for my fat feet!) and I am EXTREMELY impressed by the comfort and most particularly about the great arch support in this shoe!! This shoe I won't have to wear an orthotic in! (I am crippled with foot pain that cannot be helped by a doctor.) My feet went "ahhhh" when I put these on and walked in them! Oh happy day!! Nice shoes, wish they had fit! Loved the style of the shoes. So I ordered them in a size 10. They were shipped very quickly. However, upon receipt I found they were too small. I wear a size 10 and have for more than 30 years. So it is save to assume they do run a size small. I returned them and received a quick refund. No complaints about customer service. March 23, 2011

Best for the Trail I bought these shoes for everyday wear, like the product description suggested and some of the other reviews supported. I found the shoes fit true to size, were comfortable, breathable, and supportive. The soles are very stable while walking on the dirt, gravel and grass, but feel weird on hard surfaces (ie. sidewalks, asphalt, etc.). It feels like I'm walking in turf shoes. With less than a week of use, the small nubs are already showing wear, though the rest of the sole still looks new. The shoes definitely fit well so I will continue to wear them around. But, next time I am looking for an "every-day" shoe I will likely choose a shoe with a different type of sole. February 14, 2011

Men's Kaibab I needed an everyday shoe. I usually stick to Nike shoes, but wanted something a little more rugged and a little more designed for the trail. These shoes are awesome. The reviews said they run a little small, so I ordered a 10 1/2, when typically I would wear a 10, and they fit like a glove. The shoe is light weight, without compromising any of the shoes structural stength or support. And, for the price it couldn't be beaten. Not to mention the cheap and ungodly fast standard shippiing. I ordered the shoe about a week before christmas, and got it two days later. If you haven't worn anything from Columbia, I suggest that you try them out, you will fall in love! January 2, 2011

Very comfortable and good for walking. I wear this everyday to class and to work. You'll still feel comfortable after wearing it to walk for a long distance. It's really a good pair of walking shoes. Nice colour, nice design and nice fit. November 18, 2010
First time buying shoes online The shoes are a fantastic fit for my 9 1/2D feet. I live in a smaller town and could not find anything locally with attractive looks and good fit, I took a chance on the Kiabab shoes that looked like the worn out Columbia shoes currently on my feet. From the moment I put these on right out of the box, there was no discomfort at all, in fact the shoes fit like a glove.While I was taking the shoes out of the box and putting them on, I realized that no one had ever had these shoes on their feet to try them on or mangled them attaching a price tag. Best hiker I own I can't believe how impressed I am with these Columbia Kaibabs. I tried on a pair of Merrells, North Face, and even purchased a pair of Patagonia's . The Merrells were heavy, the North Face pinched my toes, and the Patagonia's gave me a blister on the back of my heel. My new Kaibab's are light, extremely comfortable (most comfy shoe I own), good looking, and very sturdy. The sole is grippy and awesome. The day after I bought them I went on a 10 mile hike through some pretty rough terrain. By the time I was done my feet felt great. The Kaibab's breathe extremely well and again they are so comfortable. When I got back they were completely filthy caked with mud and dirt. I rinsed them off with a spray hose and let them dry over night. They look totally brand new. By far my new favorite hiker. Goes to show that you don't have to spend a fortune to get a quality shoe. Great shoe! I never give reviews but I was so satisfied with this shoe, that I had to give it props. This is my first purchase of Columbia shoes and I'm very happy with them. Aaaah! Purchased to hike in the Canadian Rockies. Wow, what a light, supportive, and capable hiking shoe. How I measure a shoes comfort is how my feet feel at the end of the day, and they felt great and ready to go even further! These are my first Columbia shoes, but not the last! July 8, 2010
uncomfortable I have owned 6 pair of Columbia hiking shoes and have had nothing but great results with them. I purchased the same size as always, but these are very uncomfortable, very tight and I can not wear them. I am very disappointed in this pair of shoes. July 4, 2010
Fits Like a Glove... Great shoe, felt a little on the snug side, Yet comfortable due to my wide feet. Great for traction, on the bike or hiking. Light weight was surprising as it seems very durable and rugged. Great shoe all around. One thing would be nice if the laces were a little longer. Thanks June 16, 2010
Lightweight sneaker I ordered a 10.5 originally, but it was too tight, so i went up to the 11 and it fits great. I would say that this shoes runs narrow more than long. 11 is not too long for my foot, but the width is much better. Some might like the tighter "Nike-like" fit, but I prefer it on the looser side.It vents really nicely which I like the most. The mesh all around the shoe keeps my dogs from sweating too much. However, it's still very stabil and durable. I took my last pair (Pagora's) to Iraq with me and they are still kickin. Durability is primo April 11, 2010
Outdoors I ordered this shoe originally just to have a new decent tennis shoe other than my other trail shoe also from Columbia. This shoe isn't just your average tennis shoe however, its light weight, durable and can go through just about anything and look brand new after washing it off. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who is looking to go hiking/running/or even on the beach. Great traction combined with increased speed, durability and comfortableness puts this up there as one of the best shoes I've ever had. April 2, 2010
