Good alternative to Buff This is a great alternative to a Buff. Even with the venting around the nose and mouth and below the eyes, these type of neck wraps are not going to keep the fog off of your glasses when pulled over your nose. Definitely need de-fogger for your glasses. I do like this neck wrap because it is lighter weight and a better moisture mangement fabric than buff. This is my favorite neck wrap by far. bass fishing I use a face mask almost every weekend for bass fishing - I wore this wrap last weekend and loved it. I use it over my face while fishing, and let it drop over my neck when I want to. I couldn't find this style anywhere in any of the big tackle shops-the Columbia style is much cooler than other neck wraps sold.. December 12, 2012
Wish there were multiple sizes I purchased this for my oldest brother who went through a rigorous radiation regimen for thyroid cancer. Since the treatments his skin is hyper sensitive to sun and warm temperatures. He loves the fact that it does keep the skin cooled. Unfortunately, it is difficult to pull over his head. He also said that he wished that it had a triangular part that would extend down to his chest area for additional protection and cooling. With these additional options it would have been perfect. Love it! I wore it on my last fishing trip and loved it. It kept my face protected from the sun and kept me cool a whole day fishing. The venting on the nose area and underneath the eyes made it easy to breathe and prevented my sunglasses from fogging up. October 11, 2012
No more sunburn! Bought this product to keep my neck and face cool on hot fishing trips. Seems to do the trick and keeps the sun off my face as well. Only draw back is that it takes a lot of fine tuning to keep it from fogging up my sunglasses, but once I get it on correctly the problem goes away. Great product! October 9, 2012
I use them & gift them. These are a must as they can give you full face coverage in those direct suns on the sea with upward reflection. I hope to avert cancer & aging lines by protecting my skin. Great way to stay cool or cool down I was hesitant to buy this since I have a large head (7 and 7/8th hat size) and few things fit my head well. Having said that, I was surprised how well this neck wrap fit. I use it on my boat quite a bit. Dunking the wrap in my boat's cooler is also an awesome way to cool down. August 14, 2012

power skiff and kayak and wade fishing very pleased with my purchase. it gives me the sun protection i need without applying a greasy spf 50. i tire of the sunscreens. you might say "$20 for a handkerchief???" it will become clear to you the very first time you dunk the gaiter in the ice chest and pull it over your head on a hot july day. that alone is worth the price tag.hint: couple this gaiter with an omnifreeze hat, and you have a winning combo. Keepin Cool I am a fishing guide and spend a lot of time in the sun. I never leave the house without my Freezer Neck Wrap. My husband ordered one first and I had to have one! Men's PFG Freezer Better Than Expected! I received my Men PFG Freezer Neck Wrap and wanted to take it out a few times before writing a review. So far it has exceeded my expectations. The material is very lightweight and by utilizing the stretchy band across the top it does not pull so tightly on my entire nose and face like other brands. I could also pull it all the way up to my sunglasses and guess what... no fogging! This is my biggest issue using products of this nature. June 12, 2012

Great All Around Buff I wasn't a huge fan of the thought of wearing a buff, but I decided to give it a shot and got the PFG Freezer from Columbia. After an 8 day road trip fishing through the southeast, I am very glad I bought it. It kept the sun off my neck and bugs out of my face. The vents also made it so that my sunglasses didn't fog up if I wore it early or late in the day. I have a pretty average size neck and head and it fit great. Definitely a great buff! June 7, 2012
I like it better then Buffs and it's less espensive The PFG neck wrap is light weigh and it's perforated. It lets you breath easier and keeps you cooler. I work in the sun all day. So I'm very pleased with this product June 4, 2012
Outstanding Best on the market more lightweight and breathable than the buff's and any other on the market. Plus gives great protection from the sun doesn't muffle your voice so you don't have to scream to talk the other people in the boat. Covered Up Kayak fishing on sunny days can lead to a heck of a sun burn. I like to cover my face and ears as much as possible and the PFG Freezer Neck Wrap is awesome. My skin stayed cool/ shaded and the small integrated breathing vents kept my sunglasses from getting foggy. March 20, 2012
