Puffy Down I have not had it in the cold yet. But it is warm fits good love the color and the pockets. I got this for a heavy down to go over other lighter thinner downs when I'm in real cold weather. It's going to work great. May 12, 2013
Warm and light Great product! comes with a pack-sack that I will be using next camping trip. I'm in SD and we have been getting some ice storms. I keeps me warm and the wind has not been an issue at all, this coat has blocking it. Lately the temps have been a low of 20 degrees F and the wind has been 20 to 25 miles per hour. I have had a t-shirt on with this coat during these conditions without problems at all. Would like for it to get colder and have higher wind speeds so I can see what this coat can really do!It is true to size for the active fit on me with a size large. I'm 6'0" 186 lbs Mesomorph build. warm and comfortable I love the warm and comfort. The only thing I would change is that it is that I have a large upper body so the XL is tight in the chest, back and shoulders. I love the thermal lining and down filling. I've been out in very cold conditions with just the coat, with a sweatshirt under it or a fleece under it and all have been very comfortable March 13, 2013
So light and warm I can't imagine a jacket being lighter then this and still as warm. It's perfect for hikes in the cold because it breathes well and is extremely light. Looks great too, I like the Sanguine color. I haven't warn it in rain yet and it seems like you want to avoid having it in heavy rain. But that's true of any jacket that breaths this well. It's expensive but if it last 5 years, it's very much worth the price. February 4, 2013

Excellent coat I purchased this coat just before Christmas for my hiking to Kilimanjaro. Right after Christmas, Northern California was hit by a serious cold wave. It may be the Omni Heat technology or the construction, I stayed very warm and comfortable in this coat. It worked very well in the cold temperatures!!!! I wear it every day since I purchased it!!!!! Not worth 240.00 Not impressed its surposed to keep you warm at all cost and prvent sweat , well i guess they didnt test this jacket out because it failed all the way January 3, 2013
Great jacket ends long search After trying several brands, I finally found a light-weight, warm winter jacket. This model blends function and style. I opted for an all-Black version -- it looks nice enough to wear to work or out but is warm enough to wear on the coldest days.Although warm, this jacket probably would not be sufficient for skiing Ski Cooper's Chicago Ridge or in heavy, sustained winds. Well made Product - Not True to Size Although it is a very well made High Quality Product , the XXL was not true to size and did not fit my husband .I actually sent it back just yesterday 1/2/13 . The good news is my husband was able to find another Columbia jacket that fit correctly at Columbia Outlet in Tinton Falls, NJ . That is how much we like your products. January 3, 2013

Very disappointed I returned this jacket immediately upon opening the box. The fabric was chintzy, the down thin and when I held it up tp the light I could see right through it. A Spring/Fall jacket with a deep winter price. December 24, 2012

Powerfly Down Puff Quality product. It has not been cold enough yet this fall to wear this jacket. I have put it on a few times and due to its ability to retain heat, was not able to keep it on for long. Im looking forward to a cold winter! The quality is great. It is lightweight and the chest pockets make it very functional. Im very happy with this coat. Omni-heat.... what a great idea! October 16, 2012
