nice jacket! Bought this for late November/early spring trip to Ireland. I am 190lbs and 5'10, large fit perfect with room to layer a Grid/Fleece under it. Haven't worn it in the rain yet so can't say how well it waterproofs; will update later. March 12, 2013
Men's Rain Tech II Jacket I purchased the Rain Tech II Jacket in anticipation of needing it on a future trip to Alaska. I wanted a lightweight rain jacket, with a hood, that would also provide some warmth. This jacket meets all of those criteria and it is also a great looking jacket. I really like the Omni-Heat feature and the available color combinations. I normally wear a large size but needed an XL because I wanted some room to wear a sweatshirt underneath. February 13, 2013
Husband chose this over another jacket I bought this coat for my husband for Christmas, along with another, since I wasn't sure which he would like. We ended up returning the other one (a Mt hardwear rainjacket) because he liked the quality and warmth of this one. At this point, it's still early, haven't gotten much use of it, but he and I are both happy with how it fits--he's 185, 5'7", stockier guy, and the large fits him well. Men's Rain Tech II Jacket I like the waterproof of my jacket in the rain with waterproof zippers and the warmth inside too. Jacket has a few pocket with one with inner earbuds hole in the middle left of the chest to keep the rain off of my earbuds, underarm venting and adjustable rain storm but there's no way to attach it. Excellent rain jacket for rainy Vancouver Had this for the last couple of years, borrowed it to my brother who liked it so I let him have it. Bought another one when it started to turn rainy. Great rain jacket. Only problem is I ordered online and got sent a different colour than I asked for. I selected "Gravel" and the jacket I got is dark green (that's not even one of the available colours listed!). Hmm... October 31, 2012
Perfect rain jacket! On a recent hike up to Mt. St. Helens, in the pouring rain and howling wind, this jacket performed flawlessly. Not only did I stay nice and dry, I was also toasty warm. This jacket is perfect as my everyday jacket walking around the soggy northwest this fall and winter. I highly recommend this product! Superb Rain Jacket I bought this rain jacket for the constant northwest rains. I wanted to use it as a coat to go over my clothes while walking around town, hikes, and to just stay dry. Not only does it do the job but the Omni-Heat makes an excellent addition. It is packable in a larger backpack, as it is a little stiffer than other Columbia shells, and fits true to size. If you are going for the Abyss Texture Color, note that the jacket mainly green, it looks like blue in the picture on the website. March 7, 2012
