Fantastic!! Just the kind of winter shoes I was looking for.There was a ton of snow this year and these shoes kept my feet warm and dry in spite of having to dig my feet into 2 feet of snow piled on sidewalks. This shoe does exactly what it was made for ! Have worn them several times now in upper 30 to 40's F. , and they have kept my foot warm , not hot and sweaty . Haven't had a chance to wear in rain , but will be in the Pacific Northwest for a week with them and will find out . March 27, 2013
Fast delivery, and great looking! This was one of the fastest deliveries I had. I bought one pair for my dad, and one pair for my mom. "You can't beat warm feet" Trudging through the snow and ice in Buffalo, N.Y. as a route salesman your feet need to be warm and these boots don't disappoint..At one point I thought the heater in my truck was blowing on my feet they were so warm but infact my heater knob was turned on to the "window" setting.... Good on environment with snow I have to say that I expected to be uncomfortable as I'm not used to use this kind of shoes, however, I found them very comfy. I bought these for a trip I made to the Alps and I needed something which keep my feet away from snow and cold and these boots did this job great as my feet didn't suffer from any of these conditions. After walking on the streets and in the snow they still look in very good conditions. I expect them to be with me for long time on future trips. February 12, 2013
Nice boots I wore these boots around the house for about a half hour the first day I got them. The next day I took them on a 5 mile walk on a trail that had rutted ice beneath freshly fallen snow. My feet stayed warm dry and comfortable. February 9, 2013
Great shoes if you don't need heavy socks. Sole is heavy enough to eliminate pressure on my foot. I walk a lot, probably 250 days per year, and a "soft" sole is a problem for me --- it makes my foot ache in the morning. That problem disappeared with these shoes.But I can't wear them with heavy socks --- not enough room! Shame they aren't available in a wide width --- I would buy another pair for winter. Fun Special Function Boot I bought this boot for rainy day walks and slushy slogs up in ski country. The rubber toe reminds me of ugly dogs like pugs or bulldogs, which I like in a weird sort of way (just gotta be a little different, you know). People say the boot is warm, but it's not as hot as my Columbia Ski Parka with Omni Heat. That thing is warm! What I do notice is my toes get a bit damp because the shoe with its ugly dog rubber toe does not breathe so well up front. Luckily, I have enough pairs of boots, so I rarely wear one pair more than one day at a time. The boots are certainly sturdy, well-made and a great value. I like the thick and comfy soles and the way my feet are cradled in the footbed once the boots are lashed on. They are certainly easy enough to get in and out of, though I use a shoe horn because I am concerned the Omni-heat foil material may tear. I intend to get many years of good service from them. nice boot Although this boot feels a little roomy in both length and width, I'm hoping that a heavy sock in winter will do the job. It's light weight and not quite as bulky as some of the typical waterproof heavy duty boots. September 25, 2012
