comfortable trail shoe These shoes are very comfortable and are of the quality I have come to expect from Columbia. Good fit. I did not realize the color valencia was so orange in color, I could not tell that from the webpage. Just a minor issue to me but may be to others April 5, 2011

very good ! Got these for a steal, and now am only wishing I picked up several pairs!Needed a lightweight hiking/trail running shoe for playing disc golf. The only thing these are not is completely waterproof, because of the heavy venetilation around the toe cap.Very light, EXTREMELY comfortable, and so far the durability has been fantastic. Hard, fast pivots on rough concrete has been known to devastate a lot of shoes (See Keen Milo's for example), especially the outsole. I was a little apprehensive, as I was initially planning on going for something with a vibram outsole, but as of yet the durability seems to be right on par. Lots of hard rounds and they still look brand new inside and out. These have been holding up absolutely fantastically, and add to that they're probably are the most breathable shoe I have ever owned. Awesome I tried these shoes in the Amazon jungle and they held up great, through the fresh mud created by the rains, they stayed dry and felt comfortable. I primarily use these shoes for keeping my feet dry during fishing tournaments so if they can hold up in the jungle, a day on the lake should be no problem! December 21, 2010

Unforgettable Experience with an Excellent Shoe Bought this pair of shoe for my company team building. We start off at the Register Office of Penang National Park, Teluk Bahang and jungle trek for about 2 to 3 hours to Monkey Beach. I past through river, big boulders, and even mud. It was raining too ....the shoe was very comfortable and light and kept my feet dry all day. It is an excellent pair of shoe. October 26, 2010
Comfort and Performance All the other reviews say that they are true to size but I find when I buy Columbia Footwear I need to get a half size smaller. When I tried these shoes on the first time I knew they would be like my other omni-tech's. They are a little stiff out of the box and may hurt the first wear, but the more you use them the more comfortable they will feel. The omni-tech is what sells this product. It is very hard to find a low top hiking shoe that is also waterproof. Overall they are comfortable shoes and very versatile. September 2, 2010
Excellent Shoe This is an excellent light hiker. The fit was true. They are light and kept my feet dry. No break-in was needed. I wore them for a week straight at BSA Summer Camp. I even ran a couple miles at camp on the trails and they gave excellent traction and comfort. July 2, 2010

Shoes I've been looking for! Just bought this shoes 12 days ago in tokyo japan for my trip to aomori, north japan. Worried with snow fall and light rain, this shoes work very well! But still slippery in thin snow build up in pavement just be careful, for walking in the rain and light snow fall its work fine.Overall a perfect shoes for me, light, cool color (I had the brown and orange base color), no sore on my foot.The material keep this shoes like new all the time, easy to clean.Many thanks Columbia, for making my trip went perfect! The all day long shoe I haven't hike up mountain in years, but I walk on pavement all day. At 6’4” and 250 lbs, I need a shoe that fits right, will hold up to rigerous daily use and will keep my feet comfortable all day. This shoe does the job for me. Runs true to size and looks good too. Switchback™ Omni-Tech™ by Tim Absolutely the most comfortable hiking shoe out of the box. I loved the fit! However, the trim was much blacker in color than the photos show. For me, a totally black shoe didn't look good with jeans. In a lighter color, these would be my favorite shoes. February 2, 2010
