fantastic shirts
I got two of these shirts, with an on sale price. I didn't expect too much. But my friends have a high praise about them. They do have a fine fabrics and good quality. I wear them to play soccer and do some mountain climbing.

This shirt is fantastic!
My husband has been wearing Columbia titanium shirts for a long time, however, this was the first Silver Ridge crew we have purchased. I bought him two for Christmas. We were both impressed with the comfort, fit, and functionality - but did not expect them to look as beautiful and classy as they are. We will definitely be purchasing more Silver Ridge Short Sleeve Crew shirts in the future!! Thanks for this wonderful product.

Come from behind underdog!
Hot and rainy is the name of the game where I live in Southeast Asia so I'm always looking for clothes that are cool, light and versatile. I was a little concerned when I first received this shirt as it felt kinda heavy but as I gave it a try on a hot sunny day I must admit it felt pretty cool and light. So far they seem pretty rugged and don’t snag as easily as some shirt do. Actually they dress up nice too as they don’t wrinkle and have a very lean cut. I have three so far and I’ll keep pushing them to see all the uses I can get out of them.

Great Shirt
This is a great shirt. It really does help keep you cool. It also has a nice athletic fit. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Great Shirt!
I bought this shirt for working out in the consistent 95 degree summer here in Naples Italy. At first glance, this shirt appeared thick but the OmniFreeze and vents strategically located behind the shoulders did a phenomenal job keeping me dry and cool during even the most rigorous workouts. I will surely buy more as needed and recommend to others.

Like the shirt but...
Shirt was received as described in terms of its design and features. Slightly larger than other shirts using the same sizing heiarchy. One thing I wasn't so found of is that the shirt is sold to be a advantageous shirt for hot weather but it is quite a bit heavier than most other shirt types. This may be intentional to increase the SPF rating, but the shirt sure seems like it could go on a diet.

Great for Hot Weather Fishing
Fishing Blue Water Tournaments in the Gulf Of Mexico can get hot! This shirt is perfect. Fits well, looks good stays cool. A little hard to get fish blood out of though. So if you're picky about that don't wear white.

Phenomenal Fabric!
This shirt is so light that it feels like you are wearing nothing at all. The weave breathes phenomenally, and the rear shoulder vents keep you very cool no matter what is going on. I did read the one review about the gent's chest hair poking through and I could see this being a problem for some people, but it didn't affect me at all. I have a 46"chest and the Large fits great. This will be perfect for both the desert and the jungle, because I don't se how it could ever get wet from sweat and not dry right away. Thanks Columbia!

Amazing
I don't know how Columbia does it but they make the most comfortable shirts. I'm just so impressed with their quality. This shirt is a little close fitting but that isn't a bad thing. It feels amazing.

Top notch shirt
Amazing. The shirt is very iridescent. It has some weight, but feels extrordinarily cool and slick, like it's a little damp or riding on a cushion of air.

Absolute FAVORITE shirt!
I bought one of these for my husband and soon found myself buying 5 more in different colors. This is his absolute favorite shirt. We traveled to Peru, the Galapagos, Qatar and Egypt and he had one of these on nearly every day. They wash up beautifully. Can be washed by hand in a sink and drip dry by morning. Even in temps up to 100 degrees fahrenheit, he was cool and comfortable. He tells everyone how much he loves this shirt. They don't wrinkle in a suitcase. Always looks good and they come in taller sizes too.

Great shirt
I had one of these when I was in Africa for a few months. When I left I had 5. If that doesn't describe how I feel about this shirt, I don't know what will. It's cool and comfortable in hot weather and it dries very quickly. It fits just a bit larger then an average cotton tee size, but to me it's just right. I wear a medium, but I like a size right in the middle of medium and large and this shirt is right in there. I will probably pick up a few more in the near future. Some of my favorite shirts.

I live in very hot weather, and sweat easily
Well I had big hopes for a new casual like Tshirt that would look good and keep me cool. The problem I have with this shirt is my chest hair pokes through the fabric, which is not that appealing. If I shaved my chest, it would be fine. So I'm not able to use this shirt for going out and about town.
If I didn't care about the fashion aspects of it, e.g. I was hiking or running.. this shirt is fine. But for anyone wanting to wear it everywhere, and if you have even a lightly hairy chest like mine (I'm no gorilla) it's going to look bad IMO.

good shirt so far, but problems too
i should start with the the heft and feel of this shirt are both fantastic. it's a delight to wear. i bought two of them and the fit is a bit large (this is a plus for me, since i personally prefer a lot of freedom in my upper body when i'm outdoors and especially when it's hot).
the only problem so far is the smell. like many high-performance fibers, the silver ridge giveth (coolness) and taketh away (stink after a few hours wear).
that said, i can strongly recommend the shirt for workouts, but only modestly for all-day wear or for multi-day treks or hikes.
