Good medicine for a blizzard The first time I wore this was in blizzard conditions when my son and I went for a dog sled ride. He and I donned our matching hats and hit the trail. Even though the snow was big, wet flakes, our heads stayed warm and dry. One shake of the hat and the snow and water shed right off.One warning, the sizes run quite small. My son is almost three and the youth large fits this year and maybe next. We couldn't find a size to fit my wife. February 19, 2013
Disappointing but cute I've always wanted one of these but it really isn't warm, runs small and needs a strap to hold flaps down. But as a cute little hat for looks, it's fine. February 8, 2013
Best hat ever First off, this hat makes me feel like Uncle Eddie from "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." So take this review with a grain of "down on his luck Alcoholic driving an Airstream across the country while listening to radio stations broadcast through the plate in his head." But I digress...This hat is WARM. I spent 3 days on the snow-covered side of a Korean mountain in January. Temps were down in the single digits for one of the days and I was skiing. With goggles strapped on, my ears stayed nice and toasty (goggle straps were above my ears, not over them) even with a good whipping wind on the top of the hill/chairlift. My only very slight complaint is that my slightly larger than average melon left a tiny sliver of space at the base of my neck that, when not wearing the collar up on my parka, would catch a draft every now and then. However, on the mountain and on the chairlift it was the perfect hat. January 27, 2013
Cozy! It is so warm. At first I wasn't sure if this was unisex as they have it selling in the men and women's section. I ordered it for myself (female) and it fits perfectly and keeps me warm. It does not fit my husband so perhaps if unisex it may not be good for a larger head. Love it! December 19, 2012
Winters Match Earflap This is a pretty sweet hat... Its crazy soft, warm without being too warm, and comfortable enough for all day use. Only negative is that the part right above your neck doesn't go down quite as low as I would like it to but that is just my preference. September 17, 2012
