I would normally order a large but ordered a medium and actually fit good
I have a pair of these pants that are two years old and they are a size large. Based on the reviews I ordered a size medium and they fit just fine.

Not what I expected
I have a pair of these pants that I bought about 2 years ago, and have loved them so much I've worn them into shabbiness. I ordered what I thought would be the same great-fitting pants in the same size as previously, and they are so loose at the waist and hips they just hang off me. I am returning them, with much regret that my favorite casual pants are not what they used to be. Ordering down one size won't work because the thighs would be too small. Why, oh why did you change the cut?

I wear these all day long!
Love the way these pants fit - they are incredibly comfortable. The fabric is soft and not too heavy - I live in Florida so I am always looking for lightweight pants for workouts. I tend to wear them all the time - not just for workouts - they look good for trips doing errands and anywhere around town

Feels great - I just wish it ...
As the other reviews mentioned, it does run big so I sized down and it fits great in the hips, and length. Unfortunately, sizing down means it shows off any inner thigh fat. But, then again, I did get them to exercise in... so, it's a little more motivation.

Good If Seeking Roomy Waist
The waist on these pants is very large. I ordered a medium and had at least a couple of inches to spare. I did not exchange them for a small because the medium fit okay in the hips and legs. I suspected a small would still have a large waist, but that it would be right in the legs. The material seemed comfortable and of reasonably good quality.

nice gear
i really like these. they really are slimming. i have mainly worn them to the gym. they are light and nonrestrictive. the pocket in the back is perfect for an id and a key. they are a little long for workout gear, but i like that. it is what makes them great for running around town too.

Awesome
Bought these for my girlfriend and she says they are the most comfortable pants she's ever worn. There is a big problem though... Now she wants me to buy her more of them... Thanks, Columbia... :)

Great, comfy pants.
These pants are super-comfortable. I am 5'2" and curvy so I was concerned about ordering a size down as the other reviews suggested. However, the large would have been way too big. The medium is just right for me around the waist, not too tight. These unfortunately did not come in a petite length, so I had make them about 4" shorter by hemming them. Some of the reviewers say you can wear these 'out' to a restaraunt...I'm not so sure unless you are not curvy like I am. I probably will end up wearing these out when we go to Ireland, but with a longer shirt to cover up my behind! They do LOOK nice enough to wear out when we travel and when I return I will probably lounge around the house in them in the winter or run in them. Very versitle, I think. Wish more of your products came in petite lengths!

anytime pants
i was looking for a lightweight pair of workout pants,from the moment i tried these on, i loved them, so comfortable, i wear them all the time around the house, out running errands and working out, i have to say they are my favorite pair and i've tried alot of different brands,the material is so soft, love them!!!! i would buy another pair in a different color if available

Attractive fitted look- Just right
I originally bought these in medium and they were too big in the waste (I'm 5'6" 135 lbs). So I returned them for a small and they are perfect. They are fitted enough to not hinder you while working out (I run and do TRX) and give a modern look, but no so fitted that I feel self conscious. They are very flattering with a sporty look. I am going to order another pair in a different color as I see this as my go to pant for exercise and very casual trips out.

Makes my Bum look Great!!
These are terrific Any Time pants. I initially bought the 'Set The Tone'pants. They are awsome too. But they run large and I sent them back.I couldn't find my size anywhere. The supply was very limited. after searching a long time I finally called the Flagship store in Portland. Thank goodness I did. The young man I talked to said the reason I couldn't find the Set the tone pant is they're out of season. They're thicker for winter. He suggested I look at the Any Time Pant.He said they're super nice and lighter for summer time use and look the same.I immediately searched them out. Knowing they run large I ordered a small. My usual Pant size is 5/7 I'm 5'7" 154#. They are PERFECT. I called my girlfriend who wanted some right away too. The material is so soft and hugging and flattering. And Ow la la my Bum looks good!

Workouts, Around the House, and to Social Events
The Anytime pant is exactly as it's named: good for anytime. The slim waistband makes it easy to layer dresses over these pants for going out and the stretch is great for my vigorous crossfit workouts. I have two pair and may buy another pair since I'll wear the first two so much, I'll definitely want another backup. Great pants.

Disappointing
These pants are cute, however they do run large. The problem I run into is that they collect dog/cat hair and lint like crazy! I have to wash and dry them separately and then take a lint roller to them afterwards. Just pray you don't run into a white animal or blanket, and you'll be good to go!

Lives up to its Name
I LOVE these pants, they are comfortable through all kinds of activities. I wear them for working out, and also for long car rides. The pants run a little loose so they are not ideal for an activity like running, but they are incredibly comfortable. I also like how soft the material is and the wide leg cut of the pant. The pants are cute without losing their functionality.

Size Runs Large
Columbia Medium in pants are too small for me. So I ordered the full leg pant in large. They were too big especially in the waist. So I would recommend a medium for those who usually wear a 12 in pants.

Comfy pants, but run short for taller people
I love these pants, they are super soft and comfortable to exercise in. My only complaint is that I am 5'8" and they are very short on me.

Most comfortable pant, ever.
I purchased these pants as part of my work uniform for when I facilitate teambuilding sessions or do other physically intensive tasks during my work day. I have been wearing them ever since! They are the most comfortable pants I own. They fit well, a little bigger than I expected, but it makes for a relaxed fit as they are advertised. Whether you are doing yoga, running, or facilitating, these pants will get you through your day and keep up with every step!

Love these pants
I received the black pair for Christmas and was so impressed with the fit and style that I returned to buy the gray pair after Christmas. these truly are the perfect pants to lounge in whether relaxing or housecleaning. I also use this pants to run errands but they can be used as a yoga pant to exercise in also. As a recommendation to future purchasers, if you are in between a Medium or Large, go with the Medium sizing.

Know body type before ordering
I ordered these in an extra small, am 5'3" and pretty average bld, 110 lbs. They are very large in the waist and slide down when I walk. There is no extra extra small available, so if you are not at least a 27" waist these likely will not work for you. They also do not offer in a "short" only in regular, so they will have to be hemmed if you aren't about 5'5" as these are at least 2 inches too long.

Best Pair of Pants- great for so many occasions
I bought these pants to replace a pair i had from years ago that I wore with everything. The black is a great color that can look dresser enough that you aren't wearing sweatpants but comfortable for long airplane rides, car trips or playing with the kids. I am not a huge fan of jeans so these pants are great so i can break into activity anytime of day. I ordered an extra pair of black and the grill after I had my first pair for a few months!

Every day pant falls down
My son gave me these pants for walking and for yoga. They are not made for people with narrow hips. They are low rise and literally fall of when I walk. The only way to wear these would be if they were a small long. Just be aware of you body type before ordering. They are made with women with short rise, short legs, and rounded hips. While the material feels great, I would not wear these except for excercise.

Great travel pant!
I used to do a lot of flying and when you are sittin on an airplane for 10-14 hours at a time, you need a pant that is comfortable while not looking like you are wearing your sweatpants or pajamas. These pants are the perfect answer. They breathe, are light as air, don't wrinkle much and look more like pants than pajamas! The only down side can be the length as they only come in one length and run a little long. Until there is also petite sizing that is the only drawback.

looks and feels great!
My wife was skeptical of these pants, but given the fact that she has not taken them off, she loves them. Fits her just right and she does not have the traditional "Columbia Look", fits her booty nicely! Love the look!

Anytime pants for anytime
I just got my pants in this weekend and haven't taken them off in over 24 hours! The material is thinner than I expected, which worried me about how they'd fair in the upcoming cold weather, but they've been very comfortable in the low temperatures. I already have 2 pairs now, but I wouldn't hesitate buying more. I am 5'6" 145 and a medium is perfectly fitting without being too tight or too loose.

overall wear
These pants are a great overall pant. They are a thinner material then some of my yoga/workout pants, so the will work for the hotter seasons. I like the way the fit and love the rear stash pocket for keys while out for a jog!
