great product!
This top does everything the label says. As a New Englander, and a regular hiker, I need more warmth and less moisture. It is also very comfortable against my skin, and the fabric is great for layering or wearing alone. I will be purchasing another for myself and one as a gift.

Ideal for skiing and low temperatures. Kept me warm all the way. Bought also the one with the zipper which I preferred, but both were really good!

Worth the buy!
I was happy to find the columbia baselayer thin yet very effective in retaining body heat! I have worn it under a fleece shell snow-shoeing many times and have remained toasty if not overly warm! I love the hot pink/orange color and have even sported it under a vest to show it off! I think it is very functional and am happy with the purchase!

women's baselayer
The shirt saved me this weekend while watching my daughter play tennis outside at 30 degrees. I have run in it on cold days and it's been great. One day I took it off after I got home from running but when I felt how warm it was I had to put it back on.. I love the shirt.

Just perfect!
I work at a fitness apparel store, and we do not sell Columbia products, but North Face, Under Armour, Padagonia. I am training for a half marathon and it is extremely cold in Maryland this time of year. I am 5'5 and weigh about 130 pounds and the small fits perfect. A customer told me about Columbis's Base Layer, how they hold the heat in and let moisture out far better than Under Armour's base layer. I have found that this is true, Columbia's base layer not only looks great and fits perfectly, it is a perfect base layer for extended activities out in the cold. I love it!

Love the Women's Baselayer Midweight top
I wear this under my sweatshirts when I'm outside on a chilly day as well as wear it for when I hike and run. It keeps me toasty without overheating. I plan on purchasing another one in a smaller size and different color.

Omni Heat Really Works!
I am typically a cold person and purchased a Columbia jacket last year with Omni Heat inside it and loved it. When I saw they came out with base layers with Omni heat inside, I had to get it. I love the way it feels, the materials breathe really well and it really does keep you warm. Great for all activities from snowboarding to hiking! It does run true to size as well.

Thank God for Omni-Heat!!
My first Omni-Heat product was the Whirilibird Parka in Bright Bluet. I needed something warm for sitting at my son's football game. Since then, if I can buy an omni-heat product, I will--my Bugaboo Boots were next.
I love this product. The top adds a lot of warmth without adding a lot of bulk. There's a 4-way stretch to the fabric that makes it extremely comfortable. I tend to wear XL in Columbia tops, and it fits true to size. I live in NW Montana and snowshoe almost every weekend in Glacier National Park. While on the move, my base layer keeps me warm enough without needing my Whirlibird Parka. Once we stop for lunch and I am not moving around as much, I break out one or both pieces of the parka and start layering up. (which piece I wear depends on whether or not the temperature is above or below zero. I've been caught out on a trip where the temp drops to -20F without windchill). I love my omni-heat!! I have other baselayers from Costco that I bought last fall. They are being slowly replaced by new Columbia baselayers.

Mostly good
This shirt was comfortable except for the arms. The area of the biceps was too tight - I do not have big biceps.

Great product!
Yesterday wore it for the first time hiking to 10,000 ft and 30 degrees fahrenheit. Didn't have to wear my fleece just this baselayer, gloves, and hat. I tend to get cold easily and this product worked better than my expectations.

Comfortable and Warm!
I just LOVE this baselayer, it keeps me awfully warm and it's so stretchy I don't even feel it. And it's definitely not bulky, I can wear comfortably under practically anything else.

amazing baselayer
I wasn't sure if I should believe the hype on the tiny "magic dots" that Columbia is using these days but I'm a believer now! I have an outdoor job at a tree nursery in Montana and cold fall/winter mornings are real rough. I wore this shirt with my usual layers and layers in 26 degree weather and had to take things off because I was sweating! It was so awesome not to need a lot of bulky clothing to stay warm. This is the way of the future, I predict you'll see this technology on winter clothing everywhere in 10 years.

Love this shirt!
Was looking for a base layer for running now that the weather is getting colder in Michigan. This shirt works great! I have only used it a few times, but it has definitely kept me warm. Would recommend it to anyone.

Great Product
I purchased this product for my mother, who is 90, because she gets cold often. She likes how the jacket keeps her warm but is also very lightweight and allows her to move around without feeling too restricted.
The only downside is that the sleeves run a little big long for smaller asian women. I ordered an XS for my mother and the sleeves were still too long. Aside from that this is a great prouduct!

Great for sailing
My husband and I are avid sailors on Lake Michigan and as the weather turned cooler I had the chance to try out my new base layer. I loved the light weight and it certainly did keep me cozy as the north winds blew. I look forward to wearing it hiking on our next national parks visit.

Beautiful base layer
Love the quality and weight of this fabric. I'm 125#, 5'3" and ordered the medium since I don't like a snug fit--torso was trim, sleeves and body a tad long but great for tucking into pants and keeping wrists warm, and the shoulders fit great.

BETTER THAN I THOUGHT!!!
This is the perfect top for anything active. It's so comfortable, and stays in place. It's great to wear under clothing or by itself. The top keeps your skin warm, but doesn't let your body get too hot while active. I would recommend this product to anyone!

baselayer
I wore this for an october sprint triathlon... I got out of the pool and had to run in the freezing cold to my bike. I put this on and kept it on for the rest of the race. It kept me toasty warm and I never overheated!

Love it!
My new baselayer top fits perfectly. I tried it on inside right after it came in the mail to check the fit, and the medium is a comfortable fit for my 5' 5", 125 lb. frame. I am also busty (D cup). I actually had to take it off because it felt so warm almost immediately. I can't wait to use it on our first winter hike. I know that I'll be warm and toasty without a lot of added bulk. I also have an omni-heat winter hat that I LOVE!

AWESOME
I have to admit, I haven't worn this running yet, but I am so excited to! I tried it on once I received it and it fits like a glove. It's not too tight so there is some breathing room, but it's also not too baggy (which I personally loathe) so it's just an all-around perfect fit. It's also cute looking (I bought the black) and it keeps you SO warm! Lovelovelovelove!

Performance Base Layer shirt

Great for Running
I got this shirt for free during the e-mail offer and love it! It's great for running in windy / cool weather! It keeps me warm and dry! I'm not sure if I'll buy another ($55 is a lot) but it really does the trick. You should definitely have at least 1 in your closet!

Best Mid-weight Baselayer
I have always found base-layers to be either too light or too heavy, and this one was just right (no, I'm not Goldilocks, haha!). I bought a medium (I am 5'3" and 130 lbs) and it fits perfectly - snug on the arms and in the chest, but not too constricting in the abdomen - which is a trait of other shirts that has always been uncomfortable for me. I am so happy with my purchase that I may start giving them out as holiday gifts :)

Amazing, comfortable shirt!
