Flattering and Functional
I was nervous when the layer was described as "tight;" usually that means for an athletic body you feel like you are getting squeezed into a pair of control-top panty hose and breathing normally becomes your main focus. Needless to say I was not only surprised but thrilled when I got these and was able to try them on. They fit like a pair of yoga pants; tight to your body but plenty of stretch and movement and comfort. And even more than that, they were flattering! They showed all the good curves and none of the bad ones, and the cut in the groin area is not tight at all. Not to mention that they work great.
Excellent work, Columbia!

Underwear that's fun to wear
These thermals are "Underoos" for adults. That's primarily why I bought them. Other than the length being a tad long for me (which is usual), they do the job. The legs fit snug but not constricting and, the waist lies in the right spot to keep them up but not cut into my abdomen. The warmth factor regulates with my body temperature so they keep me warm for cold weather sports as well as just hanging around . Plus, the pattern makes me giggle, which boosts my core temperature just one more notch.

Warm but Not Too Thick
I was concerned about the texture of the Omni Heat against my skin...no issue there! These offer that bit of extra warmth in a mid-weight thickness. They are also very cute with the stripes and so I wear them around the house, too. The main function is outdoor winter activities as a baselayer. I think this product shines with both quality and innovation. Way to go, Columbia.
